LED's are good looking in the front,i don't think it produces more of illumination when compared to the fog lamps but they are looking cool.
Even if the (white) LEDs were bright & powerful they will defete teh purpose of fog lights as fog reflects back 90% of white light hence we use yellow light in general & the orange lights in fog as these wavelength can penetrate the fog to some extent though human vision is less in these color lights.

White light will increase fog condition due to reflection of the light.

@ gypsy

Even if the LEDs are not effective, I will just leave it for the looks.

BTW, Hope you have resolved all the problems with your Manza and are enjoying the drive. Have you taken it out for any long drive lately?

Re: My Manza Aura ABS QJet - Truly a Breed Apart

Manza left pulling problem remains unresolved, a lot of effort has been done its a long story which I have not updated on this forum but all efforts have failed. I have driven 17 manza they all pull to left, 11 of them were brand new car 6 of them older cars.
I had not been doing any work for 62 days so getting back to work become prime importance & I left the problems for a while & have been busy with work & have driven now 7500 on odometer.

Its not just my manza but others manza also have the same issue & no solution from Tata Motors.

I like your inside cabin below seat led light arrangement, that looks so cool & so useful that manufacture should provide this as a standard fitment.

@ Highway Ranger Trust me , the spoiler in that Passat will not look good in Manza , i have seen few Manza's like that.

@ Gypsy Mitsibushi Outlander is now having these LED'S as a standard fitment , hope others will follow suit now.

@ cooldhaya

Unlike others, who do not like the boot on Manza, I love the look of Manza from the back at an angle. Most of the pictures that I take of my car will be from that angle. I do not like the front or looking at it straight back from a distance.

The quest for a spoiler is because I always wanted to own a sedan with a spoiler.[embarass] I will not fix any spoiler unless I am pretty sure that it looks good and does not spoil the current look that I love.

Yes even i am also looking for a spoiler for my Verna , din't get to see a particular design which i want so far. The thing is the boot of Manza is a bit awkward so not all spoilers will suit it. I am sure you will be able to find a good suitable one for your car![thumbsup]

I know Chennai has changed a lot since the time I used to loaf around. But, how about GP road in Chennai? Most of the spare part dealers are still there, I presume. Don't they have any shop that stocks different types of spoilers?

I haven't been to GP road for quite sometime now. And never searched for a spoiler too there till now. But i don't think anybody will have stocks of spoilers , none of the shops i have seen have them!

Re: My Manza Aura ABS QJet - Truly a Breed Apart

@Highway Ranger
On my 2nd service at 5400kms the workshop told me to top up the engine oil with 700ml of oil, how they measured this quantity I don't know & I didn't do it at that time since they were giving oil from a drum rather a sealed oil can I hesitated since I had no way to confirm if its the same grade synthetic oil or not?

Did you get the top up done at 2nd service? I am now free & want to get the top up if its required but when I check the oil seems correct upto the level. I can feel engine noise increase & lesser mileage shown on DIS could this be due to less oil which I need to top up?

I didn't top up engine oil even for my 3rd service. I new their trick. So I told them first to check the engine oil level, brake fluid level and coolant level, in front of me before they prepared the job sheet.

If you have lost 700 ml in 5400 km, I think you should ask them to check why so. Maybe a leak or something more serious.

Engine noise is on the higher side during cold starts and quietens down after driving a few kms. Which I guess is normal for all diesel cars.

And also it should be from branded can. Not some drum, I guess.

Take a second opinion with another service station.

Actually, for me the mileage, full tank to full tank has increased in city driving from some 13.5 kmpl to around 15 kmpl. The DIS always shows around 2 kmpl more in my manza. And on highways I get around 18.5 to 20 odd depending upon my driving style, which now a days is more on the faster side.

Re: My Manza Aura ABS QJet - Truly a Breed Apart

During second service of our Manza, they said we need to top up with 500 ml engine oil.
Our driver who has a good experiance in taking many of the cars in our area to service station for regular services had a detailed discussion with the technician and we met the Service center Manager also to reconfirm whether its not some other issue like leak etc.

Second service was done at 6218 km. (service range was 5000 to 5500 km but it overshoot because we just completed a 4400 km round trip - Daman to Kerala and back)

We just did a drive in without booking (normally we have to book in advance for the service) and the female staff at the reception was hesistant due to km overshoot and it was a busy day when we are there without booking. However, after some time she agreed after consultation with a supervisor and Manager.

And regarding top up, we assumed that oil level would have gone down because of the long trip in hot weather and high speed driving.
During our return journey from Kerala we were averaging at 140 km and some times it was 160 to 165 km and once 170 mark also tested.
Covered 1700 km in 23 hours (start to finish)
