Today, I was going through this thread from begining. I found that Manza High beam problem was discussed earlier. Had I gone this thread earlier, I shouldn't have banged my head for hours. [:)]
I read that you're facing some tuk tuk sound from dashboard. I too am facing it. It could be similar problem as yours. Though its very feeble, but annoys me a lot when everything else is silent.

To identify if the problem is the same, switch off everything including the AC air recirculating button. If it the same problem the sound should stop.

BTW, are you getting the sound when the engine is off?

Need to check. I feel its coming even when engine is off.
Well I remember one thing, Few days back when I was adjusting the headlamps, I heard tik tik sound from under the bonnet. At this time, ignition key was in place and ON. I was checking the lights. Maybe that was the same sound.

If the sound is coming with the engine off it might be the AC air intake motor gear slipping. Turn off the recirculating and see if it continues. Else, it might be some relay tripping.

I meant as your next car

It's really nice to see the way have maintained your car[clap]
Thank you, but the cars nowadays do look new for a long time. Unless you dent and scratch it and do not bother to repair the damages.

My six odd years old zen also looked new. I just have my car cleaned every day and I don't polish or wax it. The paint job these days are really good.

The car products that I bought from A2B Hosur-Krishnagiri

One of the products, 'spray shine', when sprayed on the black plastic parts on the car restores the color and keeps it that way for a couple of months.

Thanks manza class.

Looking forward to know your take on your car. Please start a review on your car.

It will be a good thing if we share the problems we faced and the solutions for the problems, so others owners can benefit from it and will not be taken for a ride by tASS.

That is a good one in your 1.5 yrs review of manza. My car rattles whenever goping over bad roads. thats one I will disagree with you . I am again getting that tik tik noise from Boot. But its not always. Sometimes appears sometimes doesnot. Also the formt suspension gives noise when going over speed breakers , but not on potholes. Have to check both the problems in the TASS.

(Cruise control is the only thing I miss in this car).
you will not be missing this. Will it be so practical in Indian driving conditiions

Yes, Cruise Control will not be of use for day to day driving. But when I go on long drives, on some of the highways, I really miss it. Even 10 minutes of use will help you relax your right leg.

About the 'tik tik' sound, I have written about it somewhere in my post. It used to be a random even on good roads. After many trials and error, they fixed it. It was some rivet that had become loose below the rear seat.

I had mentioned in my earlier post, that I do get a rattle if the front window glass is half way up. It is not there when the glass is fully up or fully down. For me, it was not a problem, as I either drive with the AC on or the glass fully down, so I am waiting for the next service to get it fixed.

Owners manuals, especially Zen's, instruct us to position the side rear view mirrors in such a way that 1/3 of the mirror reflects your car.

I followed that initially and later found out that there were blind spots in this way of adjusting the mirrors. For example even when you make sure all the three mirrors don't show any vehicles behind you and you try to change lane or take a turn, you suddenly get a heart attack by some one honking and is almost alongside overtaking you.

Then I came across an article that proved that the normal way of positioning the side mirrors were not effective and that we need to turn the mirrors all the way out that your car is not reflected in the side view mirror.

I could do that easily in my previous Zens and had no problems what so ever.

However, in my Manza, the outward rotation of the driver side mirror is restricted and I cannot swing it as far out as I would like to. (causing blind spots.) The passenger side mirror is ok.

Today, I say a post in facebook visually describing this. So I thought I will share it.

Hi Appu,

I know about these add-on mirrors. I, somehow, did not like fitting them, I didn't like the way it looks on the cars that have them fitted.

I prefer to have my original mirror open up a bit more wide.(like my old zen)

I will figure it out, when I have time. Shouldn't be rocket science...

Anyway thanks for the post.
