came home after a trip and yet to check.
ac is both cold and hot! the throw is not powerfull.
Is it pulling to the left? or the steering wheel misaligned?

And the AC, did you check the setting?

not so sudden pulling and even during braking its straight. its kind of drifting to left - didnt check in absolute flat road also the steering is bit turned to left.

ac setting is all in normal. full cool , with air flow in dash/face its kind of cold and hot - earlier it used to chill in noon!

yet to take to service station - resting happily in its shed!

Ilango, Once my old Indigo LS AC was showing similar comlaints , I drove the car for 20 km. The engine temperature risen to it's upper limit (without my notice) , car went kaput. I had to tow the car to garage, spend 17 k (gasket replacement,).Later on the problem kept resurfacing on & off, leading me to sale off the car.
The reason for non cooling AC was radiator fan failure which is also responsible for engine temperature management.

So please consult a good mecanic, before running the car.

I had a pleasant experience with my usual petrol bunk today. I topped up the tank and gave my citibank card for swiping. The attender came back asking me to give some other bank card as the citibank card swiping machine was not working. So I had no other card and did not want them to swipe it on any other machine as I will loose the turbo points and I would have to pay surcharge as well.

I met the owner and he told me to just give my mobile no, and told me "don't worry, Sir. We will give you a call once the machine is repaired and then you can come and swipe the amount". And he gave me a copy of 'India Today' as a compliment.

Now, that is what I call service. Bunk=IOC HSR layout, Bangalore.

FE tank to tank = 15.2 with 75% AC, city driving with one trip to Hosur - up and down 60kms. Tank to tank 539 kms. I am happy with the FE.

Even on highways I don't get that much. My average on highway drives are around 20 kmpl.

Maybe if I drive at around 45/50kmph on highway I might also get that much. But that is not realistic. And I don't drive to create a FE record. I am quite aggressive and 15.2 kmph in Bangalore for my style of driving, I would say is good.

People with different style of driving may get more.

I have Aura abs quadrajet & have done plenty of times 23-25kmpl average on Delhi Haridwar route as the roads are good & have sections of expressway.

The key for getting higher mileage is to drive within 2000-2200 RPM which is the best rpm for turbo to give max mileage. On this 185kms drive I drove in a relaxed manner at 80kmph, occasionally for overtaking I went to 95-100kmph. I got a mileage of more than 25kmpl (Average) the real mileage must be more than 25 as the DIS can only display up to 25.

Touchwood in my case its quite accurate as every time I fill up its almost 43+lts are filled bcoz I am monitoring the kms left till the last end & its quite accurate up to last 60kms then it goofs up & shows 0kms left but I guess that is to warn that you don't run out of fuel.
