some time mine loss 10 psi between 10 days in all tyres
10 PSI in 10 days is alarming. By going with this trend, you'd have all 4 tyres FLAT within a month! Check it your tyres have damage or cuts. Is the car parked for long durations? I too have alloys with tubeless tyres but I lose 2 PSI (Maximum till now) in 6 months.

I think if you are facing frequent air loss in your tyres, then you can try filling nitrogen.
No. I am not facing air loss frequently. I get the pressures checked every 2000 kms (which is at around once every 1.5 months) and I lose around 5-10 PSI in half an year, from my past experience. In the new Ritz, I first got the pressures lowered to the recommended level (since the pressure was ~40 PSI from the showroom!) and get it checked every 2000 kms (around once every two months). I have lost ~1-2 PSI in the 9 months of ownership and around 9k kms.

I am planning to stick to normal air only. Availability is not a problem here (for nitrogen filling) but normal air can be checked at every petrol pump (else for nitrogen, I would have to travel ~5 km).

EDIT: Congrats saroya, your thread is 20 pages already!

I am not sure whether this is the reason. My car was also parked outside my house (on the ramp) for 4 weeks (when I was abroad) and I didn't face this issue with the tyres.

I think there is some problem with your tyres. Visit a tyre shop and consult the seniors. Have you faced the same issue, on previous tyres/on other cars, earlier also?

From the basic knowledge I have on tyres, when the car is running, i.e. the tyres are rotating, the tyres get heated up and the air expands, which increases the tyre pressure and compensates for slightly low pressure. But, as the tyre cools down, the air pressure decreases again. I think since your tyres remain cold for ~140 hours simultaneously, you lose air pressure.

BTW Which tyres are you using? Brand, etc.
OT: This means that you have to fill air almost every time you take your car out?

Thanks bro and thank you TAI-Gers for your love and support [clap]
As you said you never faced air loss in your tyres. Then stick to normal air.

My car also remains at home sometimes for 8-10 days. But never faced air loss.
Joni you should consult a good tyre shop for this problem. Possible causes may be faulty or loose ball or tyres are not sealed properly on alloys. You can try filling Nitrogen.

I haven't seen anyone using those tyres, except on some 2 wheelers. I haven't used them so can't make any comment about the quality of the tyres. Do you think that the ride quality and noise is at par with tyres of brands like Michelin, Bridgestone, MRF, etc.?

How much life is left in them? I think you should replace the tyres to some better known brands. Did you visit tyre shop for this issue?[:)]

Hi Saroya, im planning to install a RPM gauge in my Alto. im going to order this from ebay. with a pod. but this only has cylinder settings 4,6,8 only. but since Alto is 3cylinder engine car will it be a problem? this doesnt have a shift light! but its very cheap and nice. only problem is cylinder settings

Any idea about how to install this shift light without a rpm gauge to the car. so i can shift gears perfectly

Sorry for the late reply. I was very busy.
For rpm gauge you have to buy a 3 cylinder compatible one to work correctly in your car.
And for the shift light i think you should install a rpm gauge with shift light.

Yesterday , completed 290kms trip with alto.
Very good performance [:D]
30% city drive and 20% patchy road with full of potholes and rest was good roads state highway .
Two people were onboard. Drove without AC.
Got 19kmpl FE. [clap] minimum speed was 20-30 kmph in city and max 110-115 kmph on state highway. Average speed maintained 90-100 kmph. Revved hard so many times for quick overtaking on narrow roads filled with trucks.
