This is really an informative and impressive review! I am planning to go to this car...within a budget of 4.6L... but I concern about front fog lamp in Magna Kappa2.

on your first service tell this problem to the service center guys , this happens in my verna as well [thinking] but don't have any problem in my 10. old i10's gearshifts are better than the verna [confused]
After a word with my friend as i told u about the slot issue, i checked the carpet that i added in the car, the accessory guy just placed it complete on the floor instead of cutting it from the edges for right size[frustration], so for front drivers side matt,i cut it two inches from the front where i saw it touching the levers upfront, and now there is no issue that i used to feel for slots, same butter smooth again.

wonderful ownership thread Vijay:

1) Condolences to your family for your father's loss

2) I also own a Indica for the last 7 years and know the feeling

3) A couple of my best friends wives have the I10s and have sat in them many times, only felt a little claustrophobic especially after the Indica spoils you for space - what is your opinion?

Thankyou for your wishes and warm words mate, feels good.
Yes take any of the tata vehicle and first thing you get spoil is the space it offers, mine was no difference with me,wife all felt the same. But taken along the budget and options we had, the i fitted perfectly.Claustrophobic well not really if you compare to swifts rear cabin, didnot felt that much of it but yes space is constrain with indica without second thought for it.

You are right I felt that claustrophobic feeling more in Swift rear seat than I10, but still both cannot match Vista and Ritz[clap]

Absolutely, nothing can match the comfort space what tata gives, maybe indica my gen,or vista now.superb space without doubt.Even as i already shared we were ready to look for ritz petrol as well but it was crossing our budget, its much better in terms of space, ride and handling as well.
Posting some random pictures i clicked today parked at my factory.

Guys, does the first service time counts from the day of delivery or the day of invoice,
As in manual shows from the date of purchase and on the card i received from hyundai and the dealer shows from the date of delivery, which one shall i count for
also what should be checked for the first service other then topups?
Only issue i feel is the gear sloting in second and thirds occassionaly nothing else.

from date of delivery. and just check all the electricals are working fine. other than that you don't have to worry. 1st service will cost you "zero" rupees. and make sure they don't charge you for windshield soap or solution [:D] they do sometimes.

my verna's 2nd service is due this 18th. i think it will be less than 2500 rupees [:D]

i10's service is due in march. and this time will get the service done from outside.

First service update

Guys yesterday went for the first service of my I at 1072kms.Its a general checkup and wash which is tobe done at first 1.2k or 2 months from delivery of the vehicle.
Went to my friends Neighbourhood Motors, s.g.highway.Had taken prior appointment for early morning.
9.30am I was there and it was my first car to serviced, SA came up propmtly who didnt knew m a friend of the owner, opened the jobcard and took details complains any and took my car Inside.
Nothing major then gear slots issue I had. They did the greasing of all necessary parts, checked trials and washing.
I was prompted at their A/c customer lounge with 55" ledtv with tata sky digi box.
Coffee was served n I had three cups in two hours and it was superb.
After everything was done final checkups n trial before delivery was done and also my I got new lungs to breathe K&N filters.Boy it does makes the city drive n initial gears knocks pretty less.
