Scratches on new car is like scratches on the heart seriously ! see if you can lighten it by rubbing and polishing Cheers !
Yeah mate that would be done with waxing and polishing it would. Thanks!

Congratulation on your new I10 Vijay. The pic have come out great.

Seriously man I don't know why do people feel so jealous on other peoples new purchase... Grrrrr I hate it.

Once again many congrats and enjoy its powerful engine. [:)]
Thankyou for your wishes, even i dont understand why do people do that, have caught a kid in my block doing it on another neighbours new vento, but still they do it, everywhere.

Feeling bad about the scratch.please keep it covered when you park it at night.i am too feeling bad for it.[cry]
My appartment has a covered parking with security, so no issues there, it was parked outside on road when i was out for some work when this happened.thanks for the suggestions.

yes bro,I know how it feels. Same happened to my car the first day but I caught hold of the convict.
Yeah man, first pinch goes thru your heart to see this happening, then you get used to it happening.

congrats on the car vijay

the color looks amazing but still my personal choice was blushing red [:D] and the interiors are any day better than the old one.

darker colors are always better than beige. it's my personal opinion.

just so you know i own 3 H which are tilted hehe.
check this - http://www.theautomotiveindia.com/forums/ownership-reviews/7967-hyundai-trio-santro-i10-verna.html
thankyou for your wishes mate, yes both the red shades looked awesome and my kid is crazy for this shades as well any given day, but this one was selected on the first look by both of me and wife, loved this shade.
Interiors yes this one is much better compared to my cousins older gen ones, which is complete beige, very difficult to maintain it,addition to front screen glare during day time makes it pretty annoying to drive at times with such high glare on windshield in hot summers.
Yes been reading your ownership thread, yet to complete it,congratulations on your all cars, great thread with superb information in detailed you covered.

Some additions to pimp up the ride;),though not needed tht much but then you cant resist to spend as well at times, brought steering grip, mattings which I had same for my indica as well, pretty good ones, dry air freshner smells soo good and door plates, plain and not the illuminated ones.
One query i had was,is it necessary to go for paint protection, have heard both the ways you should by many and you shouldnt, also for under body quotings, have never opted for any for my indica and cars before so do pour in your inputs, if i should then which brand i shall go for, we have an authorised 3M workshop here which has opened few months back and would get some discount as well from them.also approx costs for the same.

Mods: how can i add captions while posting pictures from my mobile, thats usually i use TAI, from my mobile and not able to get how can i.

If you want that , then you need to visit some body like 3M car care and pay for it, believe me they do a wonderful job, I am yet to find some time and do that for my car. Any thing offered by any car dealer like paint protection, teflon, under body protection are not upto the mark.[:)]

completely agree with gurrala. don't get such things done from service center guys , at your first service they will try to persuade you by saying all things , just don't go for it. try professionals like 3m etc.

@Vijay, your ride really looks very nice and you have done with minimum at the same time only required addition to you ride.

Saw your air refreshner, [as you mentioned in reply to my post in air refreshener thread] it looks good and i think even in my sparky i can place it in the same cup holder so that it wont have direct hit from sun light.

pls let me know how it is and and the cost of it. In the refreshner thread some one mentioned about using GEL ones, did you check with your ASS guys about that?

No ways m going to get anything else then the regular services from hyundai service centre, even that services is going tobe done at a friends place who is an equal auto freak and owns authorised hyundai service station,my query still is do the new cars really need paint protection treatment, not the teflon quoting and all but what 3M does, we have its authorised 3M service station and the head there knws me well too, also would get some discount on their products and services, just wanted to knw does the new cars paints need this treatments for longer protection and does it really helps, then i would surely go for this treatment, dont need underbody coatings, just paint protection.

Thankyou for your wishes, yes i like my ride tobe minimised with customes and only that are really required, seems m ageing[lol], thats me.Yes its a superb product and i am very much satisfied with the fragrance, have seen the freshness as it was the very moment i open my doors, no bad smell, sunlight, dust nothing, its working superbly and these are dry ones so no spilling out issues.Have heard it works for approx 2 to 3 months, it costed me 230/-.Gel ones, havent used it yet and now with these dry ones, i dont think i would try gels either.[evil]

Congrats Buddy for your I10,

Have a million of miles ahead:)
Thankyou soo much for your wishes.

.
Hi Vijay, i feel that a new car does not need any coatings.
I haven't gone for any till now.
Just cover your car that's more of a paint protection.
My car is 4 years old and i do waxing once in 15 days, and covering the car most of the times.

Thankyou mukesh, yes even i havent done any till any of my car now, even my indica ddnt had any coats applied then regular cleaning, washing and waxing every20 to 30 days.
Have heard about 3M paint protection which is superior to every other products dealers use, swirls and all doesnt get that easily after this one, also water droplets as well doesnt stay as they does usually, need to confirm this with some user who have experienced if i choose to opt for this services, else the regular care.
Regarding cover, well my appartment has a covered parking and car is kept under the parking area so no issues there, still would buy a car cover as needed when i take it at my factory where there isnt any covered parking so would be useful. Thanks mate.

Guys, since yesterday have been feeling that at times the gear slick slots butter smooth on 2nd and 3rd and at times it doesnt and feels to push it more then it requires to slot, what could be the reason for this, had a talk with my friend who owns hyundai ASS, says might be due to carpet on the floor, need to check they didnot kept the old rubber one beneath this new one,can that be the issue for this?????
