Great to see updates on the thread Vijay. I am now too using a red Hyundai i10 1.2 Auto as my daily driver now. its a pretty decent car . mine has clocked 11,300+ kms now. ownership review is there too somewhere on tai.

Small update, the free seat covers that came along the car from dealer, was expecting would not last long, and finally it gave up for front seats started stitches coming off and a portion from rear too.
So decided to change them.

10 K ownership.

Today while driving got eyes on the perfect mark of covering 10K for my i.
It has been perfect ownership so far with nothing much to complain about.It is serving us superbly and we are enjoying its ownership.

overall experience has been superb so far, with no complaints whatsoever.Had heard complains for steering rattle issues as well but havent found out on my ride so far.FE has been consistent with 13 to 14kmpl in city driven conditions with AC on.
ASS well my friend owns HASS and so far it has been taken care superbly.
Look for steering rattle issue with the owner as that was a common complains by many owners that has it has been sorted out by previous owner.

My i10( may 2009) has developed that rattle issue [frustration ] i thought some thing is banging against something but adviser said steering rack needs to be changed costing 6.5k.

Yes they had this issue for their batches taking the steering rattling for lot many i10's as well as some i20 too.
If you have to change the whole steering rack then yes hyundai would charge this much amount.You get it checked with another ASS as well before finalising the work.

My i got its first accident when an auto rickshaw driver tried to cut through traffic and the side protection bars on auto made this dent on the drivers side.
While this happened another biker did the same thing and misallinged the front bumper from left side

I was talking about the quality. I10 has better front bumper than the verna.
