Today I was stuck in heavy rain while returning from one of my sites. I was near the auto parts market. Parked my activa under a shed and got into a shop just for time pass [;)](to wait for the rain to stop).
I inquired for fog lamps. He started showing many lamps and also offered some tea & snacks. All were of local make. I asked for branded ones. He replied "branded H3 bulbs come for 80rs. But these lamps are for Rs 70(including bulbs). I have seen many autowalas using these single lamps only. The light is good.
Finally ended up buying these:

A pair of yellow 80mm(3.14") fog lights for Rs. 140 including 55W H3 bulbs.

A pair of white 110mm(4.3") driving lights for Rs. 250 including 55W H3 bulbs.

View attachment 60579
A 300W headlamp relay for Rs. 150

View attachment 60578
Push-pull switch for Rs. 50

I'll install these lights soon. I'll wire the lights same as headlamps. Driving lights in upper and fog lights in dipper mode.

Freind, tell me one thing. The white light which you have got is also kind of FOG lamp i belive. If it is so cheap, can I have something for my sparky also.

Pls see the attached pictures.

Shantanu bhai the lights are looking great, neither too big nor too small just perfect for the small front end of the car. You have positioned them thoughtfully. Great job.

Yes the car was started for first time today. Tomorrow I'll take my car to the office and after I return I'll check the voltage again. (total driving of 15 kms from home to office and back).
Check it after you drive (don't let the engine to cool down), because it also depends on its operating temperature. [:)]

@ Sethu sir,
You can add a pair of lights like this:

White lights would look good. You will have to get some clamps fabricated to fix the lights on the grill. Or you may drill two holes in the bumper as marked in black(but it may spoil the look)

The wiring is very simple and will not alter the stock wiring.

When I checked I was told that would cost around 1300 to 2000. But you were talking some thing bigger than that for hundereds. That is what I was surprised.

Okk,
Sorry I thought you have those fog lamps and want to add one more pair. The lamps which you checked are the branded ones its a complete assembly and fits under the bumper using springs and screws.
You can buy the small lamps and install them inside the bumper but some clamps will have to be fabricated.(similar to the OEM fog light clamps) Buy some local make lamps with white glass. Make sure that the glass is not concave. Replace the glass with a magnifying glass and drill some small holes in the light assembly for the heat to pass off.

Don't feel sorry sir,
I'll feel good if I am able to help you. And regarding going to the auto market. I keep searching for reasons to go there.

Please ask your service center that if you do any alteration in the bumper or install after market light will the warranty get void ??
