Added USB into my HU. took a board and diagram from a Chinese set. Don't have WIP pics. please check the photos.

Nothing costed, because I fount this thing from scrap@home :) I just cut a nokia charger to power up the board. It has audio out, audio in ports and a volume leveler rearside. I am facing an issue with that unable to change tracks, mode and volume from the frond panel. Next is accessible with the mode button :).

Varun that thing playing like fool I just removed and throughn outside.

I got a big pani In the account of over- caring or carelessness. I lost a brake disc and both brake pads. Alto on the jack at the garage now :)

Yesterday while driving on highway I heard a metal noise from left side. Took car to ASS today and they found the disc got a big crack due to the lack of brake pad. I know loud music is the culprit, other wise might be hear the noise before. sad[frustration]

I am new to this forum and stumbled upon this log, was very curious to know if power steering can be fitted into an Alto STD??

Also please let me know if the arm rest needs to be closed before hitting the hand brakes?

Oh Sad, A new disk would cost around 700rs. But how was the brake working ?

I have heard that the mount points are different also check if you have the connector for power steering. You can fit if you can confirm these points.

now brakes are perfect. I felt in efficiency on braking before but I thought was its the issue of back to back driving Indica and alto :). That was wrong

Thats good to know. Thanks for the info.

I also see in the arm rest pictures above that the fiber is slightly come over the space where the hand brake leaver moves up and down. Cant that be modified a bit?? May be the fiber piece can take a small cut??

@Varun please suggest me if there is some place i can find the entire kit and if you can also share the cost of it would be helpful. :)

You can visit Essar Auto Spares near Urvashi theater (Lalbhag road). You will get the entire kit.

You will get all MGP parts for any Maruti car here.
