Yesterday my car hit on a stone :) bumper damaged also on my windshield there is small crack from the past 6 months I am replacing that. Is any issues with resale value? as the manufacture year etched on the glass. advice please

I hope you are going to get the windshield replacement from Maruti Service center. It would help you avoid sealing and leakage issues in future. No issues would be faced in resale values.

you should have replaced the windshield mirror immediately you got the crack and you could have got done thru insurance. It happend to my 800 and i did it at ABT maruti service center and I had just Rs. 500 from my side.

Even now you can try your luck.

Yes sethu I had replaced the windshield with insurance. Payed 700 for insurance thats all.

I also have arm rest in my Alto, it is not a problem to engage the hand brake because it is well above the lever. Moreover I do not have the folding type like Rakesh, it is fixed, till it is not a problem. The only problem I have faced, is to engage the seat belt. It is not a big issue but not easy like before.

my question of arm rest with hand brake is, how it is accessible during your ride. Assume if you want to use hand brake [Do we use in that way? just another ancillary question] in any emergency case while the car is in motion since arm rest are over hand brake lever.

@sethumurugan No issues with handbrake. its working perfectly as before but I need to fold my arm rest to get free access on the handbrake. without folding its bit difficult.

Varun I don't think its able to fix on the stock holes of 800s dash. you can drill a hole for it and try to fix. But the problem is wiring diagram. I am confused

Hi rakeshkn, need one more help. Can you tell me how many wires have been connected to power steering module/motor.

Also if you have a service manual, please let me know whether PS is connected to ECU ?

No you can use see it under the dash, near steering column.
