the armrest looks wonderful and it is certainly useful. but does it affect the hand brake usage? i mean in an emergency, is it easy to get hold of the handbrake handle? p.s nice seat covers!

It will not effect on handbrake as it has a fold function and its above the handbrake. Yes varun its universal fit and it not effected on sliding but got some scratches while sliding on the fiber panel from the screws that's all.

unfortunately I driven my car in deep water., by gods grace the engine not stopped on water. But now the gear not shifting to fifth and reverse smoothly and snoozing sound coming from suspension and under body.

Given car to ASS today to lubricate all over under the body. Waiting for the weekend to check it out the results.

Those leds are looking good, i too have similar setup, but that's blue in color.

@Varun: True buddy, white ones would look awesome, even i am searching for them, but suddenly the led market has lost its charm. Most of the guys who were dealing in Leds have stopped keeping them in stock, here in Ranchi.

Conversion to Cable type would be tough. I already taught do it long ago.

Also contacted my mechanic, he told that entire shifting assembly needs to be changed (costly affair). BTW Alto's gears are smooth.

Rakesh, really it is nice to see arm rest. Actually I missed this thread just today after getting guidance from Varun, BLR in my thread http://www.theautomotiveindia.com/f...k-modification-accessories-11.html#post210704 i have landed here. It has cleared all my doubts about this arm rest with hand break.

Still only question remains was asked by kannan. But it is true I belive. It might not be a problem when you are going to park and use hand break. Assume in sudden emergency where we could use hand break might get affected in this case? am i right?

Question by kannan

the armrest looks wonderful and it is certainly useful. but does it affect the hand brake usage? i mean in an emergency, is it easy to get hold of the handbrake handle? p.s nice seat covers!
