Did a wheel alignment for Punto on last Sunday. Nothing more than that. On 29th Mar going to Gujarat for 2-3 days.

Just crossed 27500 km on ODO.

When car was on ramp for WA, took pics of the under body metal. Lotz of scraps . will post later.

Where do you normally get the wheel alignment done at the Fiat service or outside ??

Outside, dedicated WA/WB shop. They are much safer and are quick to do work.

I get wheel alignment, balancing & rotation from a Tyre Professional for my Punto as well as for my Alto. Somehow never trust Service centre guys for this.

I have to do balancing and rotation as well. But that I will do post 3rd free service thats due in next 2000 KMs.

Do it during second service. But just keep a habit of doing it every 5000 KM if you travel from bad roads. I travle daily on Mumbai roads with potholes. So have to do it regularly.

Vivek, as Dharmesh suggested follow the habit of getting A-B-R done at every 5k interval though FIAT says once in 10k kms. I usually run on good roads, yet follow this schedule. It helps in better tyre life and also helps in detecting any unusual wear and tear in tyres or bent alloys soon.

Can you please let me know, which polish did you use. After looking at your car, I am also planning to apply the same.

Nope, you get them now on ebay. Atleast thats where I got them. Very good product for the price.

What's A-B-R, Btw rear left tire is showing abnormal wearing out. Got it checked at kashyap, they said that they have fixed the issue but i doubt.

A-B-R is nothing but Alignment, Balancing and Rotation. Sorry for the abbreviation used.

With regards to tyre wear, ask them to check the suspension set up as well.
