Kudos. I'm always worried bout my ride's full glass rear (Brio) when it comes to sudden breaks.

About safety features, one should opt for them, irrespective of the price that u need to pay for it. It becomes life-saver same day or the other.

And going through your ownership thread, i'v become a Fiat fan .

Amazing write-up. And an amazing ride.

Will definitely keep it on top of my list when going for a change from P to D.

Your punto is reliable work horse.
My Figo gave me troubles. Car was consuming engine oil.Now rectified but with bit of tough to get hold of Ford India. Figo is reliable car. So far I have faced issues:
Engine oil consumption: Fixed and got extended warranty for two years along with free 20K service.
Fuel leaking:Immediately after refueling, diesel started leaking. Went to FASS, I was told to leave car, 3 PM got call from FASS that tank's mouth became oval rather than round and due to this cap was loose and hence fuel was leaking. Took car back for the day as part was not there. I was promised that tank will arrive next day and will get car back same day. Exactly this happened. This time around FASS at Delhi ford called Ford India, got the approval to replace tank under warranty.

Yes safety comes up first, and I am happy that my thread made you believe in FIAT and eventually made you fan.

Sorry to read about your issues. FIGO was my first choice, but rejected due to GC issues. And yes PUNTO have served me weell till now. Now nearing 27000 KM.

I also agree with you bro, but this thread can make any car lover a fiat fan.

Just crossed 27000 KM day before yesterday. Exact ODO is now at 27200 KMs.

I just found out that there is a crack on my front bumper left side and front left god lamp glass is cracked. Dont know the reason of the same yet, But i think I have bumper my Punto in Pothole on 20th feb when going to Siddhivinayak temple and that could the reason for the same, But not sure.

Will check with body shop guy on monday about what to do. Actually I can live with the same, the crack is not even visible on bumper and Fog light is working. But a car enthu is not letting me to do so. I am not sure if I would get insurance claim on same or not.

Will update you all again on Monday after talking to bodyshop guy. I will post pic tomorrow.

For tomorrow I have planned to wax polish the beauty. More pics can be expected from me, if everything goes as planned.

Congrats on your landmark, i guess for all plastic parts you will get only 50% of your claim which i feel is not worth the effort.

Here are the pics for the crack on the bumper. Also had a polishing session with my Beauty. It is very physical job. Frankly speaking I dont feel much difference after polishing. It may be the polish I use or may be I din't do it properly (this was my first time). So if Polish product is good, then expecting better result next time as I have learned few things as I was polishing.

after polishing it looks good, its a pain to see the crack on the bumper.
