Damn I had the same issue, which I reported here earlier. Left rear tire outside threads were fading faster than inside one's. Got it wheel balanced and I think so they moved it from left to right side. And also they did check the suspensions. On fixing the issue (as they claimed) I asked SE what's the issue, He din't gave any answer. I asked him many times, then he said rear alignment issue, but I doubt his answer. [anger]

Anyways, on my 3rd free service, I will get it done again. But from outside not from TASS. They charge Rs.720 for Wheel Balancing and they themslves get it done from dedicated WA/WB shop. So better to get it done from outside at cheaper cost and also in front of our eyes. [clap]

So you mean issue is still there. Have you got any of the tires changed?

No I have not got any tire changed. But I am not sure if issue is fixed or not. Because there is no way of checking the same. But leving apart the worry I am enjoying my ride. [clap]

I have seen this problem being discussed on an another forum but the sol came out just alignment and balancing but i don't believe this.

Completed 28000 KM yesterday. Been to a nearby beach at NalaSopara. For my Niece's birthday.

My dad tried his hands on Punto on beach while I was playing in sea water with my niece and nephew. And suddenly I can see my dad stopped car at remote corner of the beach. It was stand still for about few minutes. I had doubt that something had happened. So ran down at that spot and voila , dad has managed to stuck punto on beach sand.

Then I tried removing the car by steering left /right but no use. More we try more wheels rotated at same place and going further down. Then we tried putting stones under the wheels , but no use as wheel. Then finally we removed as much as sand possible from near and under the wheel. Asked few people around to just push the car. I took the steering and she was out and great relief to me. [cheers]. No damage to car.

Between we were 6 adults and one kid in car and as usual PUNTO was rock solid on highways. [clap]

dharmesh, Ooh! That it would have been an experience to move sand stuck Punto. Its quite difficult to push a Punto due to its weight.

6 adults in your Punto [surprise]I have done this only once, that too for a km or so. Somehow am not comfortable filling my Punto with more than 5 passengers.

So, very soon you will cross 30k kms mark [:D]

They pushed it , but I was also applying gas to the car. so both force worked together very well.

6 people in my Punto is normal. I have done more than 100KM one way with 6 peoples. Although myself don't like to do it, but situation demands it. [frustration]

Yes 30K KM is near, Actually I am going to Gujarat this weekend. So minimum 500 KM is assured. I will give for service once it has crossed 29K KM. [;)]

Crossed 29000 KMs yesterday. In next 500 KMs the beauty go for service. [clap].

One issue that I found was uneven wear and tear on left rear tyres. After tyre rotation last time, the new tyre is also undergoing same wear and tear. So during service TASS is going to have a big blast from me. TASS people get ready. [evil][evil]

MODS : Please update the title to 29000 KM in 17 months.

Yes sure. Actually I had 3 nails in my left rear tyre. So that Puncture guy sggested me to get tyres rotated i.e. move front tyres to rear and rear to front, as front ones are in really good condition.

Lets hope they are able to resolve it, Else ill make a visit to RS Motors. These are bunch of peoples who have good knowledge in FIAT cars and have garage that takes only FIAT cars. They might be able to nail down the issue.

So you think this tank like car is going to be damaged getting stuck in sand..Wow.amazing conscience.[frustration]
