Re: Monthly Discounts / Schemes on Indian Cars.
If you visit any stockyard (i.e any brand), you will see how cars are kept. Under the open sky, no protection from the Sun, rain or the elements in general. And off-course birds and rodents.
I would not trust any car that has been in the stockyard for more than 2-3 months. In some cases, probably upto 5 months is acceptable but with proper PDI and when the dealer promises to replace some components (battery, oil etc.).
The Fiat dealer did send me the discount sheet for 1-2 year old cars in stock when I had enquired last Sep (i.e 2012 -- I probably had posted it in this thread itself), but the discounts offered for a 2 year old car was dismal in my opinion (Rs. 70K odd if I remember correctly). They have to cough up much more if I am enticed to even think about it.
What issues can be expected in such a car??
