My cars tail light got a dent, i was not able to find out the reason, today after coming back home i touched the tail light and it was hot, i guess that's the reason it has got a dent! guys please let me know the possible suggestion to get it fixed.

Is the tail lamp covers of i10 is made of glass or plastic.
I didn't observed it in detail.
Need to check my I10 to ensure.
I believe the tail lamp cover was weak in wrapping process.
Need to do some analysis to find out the reason.
Didn't find any reliable options to make it back to its original shape.
Some experts use the heat gun to make it's shape back to original.
But didn't find lead for the exact process .

Its plastic i feel and tail lamps are not wrapped, it has got matt black paint. i guess its because of the breaklight getting heated. I cannot think of any other reason.

I have installed xenos security system and when i tried to unlock the remote was not working, then i tried to open it with the key, it opened but the security system started beeping and there was no option to switch it off, luckily i had the other remote and i cold switch off the sound. What would have happened if i didnt have the other remote! is there a way to switch off the alarm once i open it with the key other than using the remote !
the heat from black paint is making them wrap. remember the Solar cooker principle..

What would be the possible solution for this ! i guess its having stock bulb for break light, if i change to led will that give a solution to this ?
maybe. however led may blow out due to the same reason - heat concentration.
worth trying though.
can you make holes on the inside part of brake light to make warm air escape?

Ya that we can try. how to get back the tail light to its original form ! how to remove the dent ! any idea ?
you May have to open it and press from inside. try hair dryer to make the lens soft and press it to original form.

Will try this Saturday.
about the Security try removing the remote Battery and cleaning contacts. it could be dust or loose connection. also try fresh cells if possible.

I took it to the shop and they changed the battery. Now things are fine.
Nice mods, I personally liked the alloys.
Regarding your number plate. Post #51, IMO the #plate is looking too small on the huge front grill. Is that size an acceptable one by RTO?
