Wow !! Polo in red always makes me drool. Simply gorgeous. Love the way you have kept your car.
So yours is a petrol Polo. How much FE are you getting and how has been the engine performance till date?

I am getting FE of around 11 in cities and on highway reaches up to 15 easily. Trying to improve my driving style to get better FE from city.
Performance has been much better than I expected, or better than most of us expect. After 8-9k on ODO, there is huge improvement in the way it picks up and responds to throttle. I have become a huge fan of the way it behaves as a rev happy engine.
While I love the high speed abilities, I am fond of its drive-ability in cities too.
The best part: my car had always been there when I wanted all this time of ownership. No issues, failures, problems so far.
I have crossed 14.5k on my ODO and nearing my service. I will share more details on my car then.

Those are some amazing pics. Your Polo looks really gorgeous. Polo looks best in Red color IMO.

FE seems to be decent and I'l be looking forward for your first service report. As you have the AMC with you, so you won't have to pay anything for the service right. Does the AMC plan covers the labor charges as well and can you check with the workshop when you get your car serviced if AMC is available on Polo Tdi as well?

Yes I have AMC for three years and I don't have to pay a single penny for first three service, neither for labor.
Sure, I will check for AMC for diesels or any offer on diesel related to service.
I hope that new polo and vento arrive at showroom by the time I give my car for service giving me chance to have a look at those new features introduced. If so, I will post a few pics and observations.

And yes it would be great if you do get a look at the new Polo and Vento. Let us know what all features have been added in the Trendline and Comfortline variants as there prices have been increased by 20k each. And do let us know what will be the cost of the smoked headlamps if an existing Polo/Vento owner wants to replace the clear lamps with the smoked ones. Thanks in advance!

Those smoked headlamps are first on my list. Will definitely let all you guys know about it. I am also in mood to see if I can get the new head unit too. Let's see what all features we early buyers can get from new ones.

UPDATE
I have given my polo for first servicing. No issues as such, but made the advisor note down a few points:
- Engine mount issue is there supposedly. Earlier another workshop mentioned it.
- Alignment/Balancing
- Some sound from dash board, probably the AC vents
- Some paint touch-ups and rubbing
- Wiper cleaning not that perfect
Lets see how do the things improve after service.
You said you are getting minor paint touch ups also done in your service. Will you be charged for that or is it also covered under AMC? And I would advice along with wheel alignment and balancing, get your all 4 tyres rotated if you haven't got that done earlier. Its adviced to do that after every 5k kms to increase the life of the tyres.

Minor paint touch-ups and rubbing is free irrespective of amc. Spoke to the guys and they said that coolant is chargeable. All labor, engine oil, filter etc components are free under amc. Regarding wheel alignment and balancing, I am planning to get it done from outside as they are quoting around 900 bucks for it!!
I will go to a good tyre shop and get all alignment/roration done soon.

Alright. Yes it is better to get the alignment and balancing done ouside. But again wheel alignment should have been covered in the AMC. Surprising its not! Alrite if you do get a chance while collecting your car please do ask the VW guys if AMC offer is available for Polo diesel also. I am really interested in getting it.
