I planned to Swift Dzire LXI(O) model. its my 1st car in my family. give me best suggestion for likes and dislikes of this Dzire car. my budget is 6lakhs.

My cars present ODO reads 7500.

Likes

1. Mind blowing pickup, it maintains the same pickup across at any given rpm.
2. Ride and handling are excellent.
4. Good suspension.
5. A true sedan rear seating with good seating angles.
6. After all these plus points my car average is 17.1(50:50) city:highway with AC
7. One and half year over no major troubles not even on time visited service centre, this shows the reliability of the car.
8. Excellent interiors.
9. Great AC.

Dislikes

1. Thin sheet metal, of course now a days other brands also following the same, even while washing you need to take care.
2. No touch screen ICU and navigation.
3. NO DRL's.
4. Cabin Isolation is not good.
5. Paint quality and finish not good.

You should also add to the dislikes the fact that it got a 0 in the NCAP crash test and was termed unsafe because of unstable structure of the car. This was a version with airbags and abs. And our beloved maruti has not done a single thing to rectify this situation. Such callous attitude towards customer safety is pathetic.
i am in the market for a new car and wont touch this with a ten foot pole

I am least bothered about NCAP crash tests, that's my personal opinion it is the reason that point is no included in my likes and dislikes. If you don't buy this car that is up to you and your personal reasons.

Hi Bro, SRS air bags called supplemental restraint system, there is a big debate on this between tech communities. In the same way I have my own personal plus technical reasons not bother crash tests. Its not a good idea to dump my personal reasons plus technical reasons here. Sorry for not reasoning. I have briefly touched the same topic in vitara brezza thread with some technical details, pls refer my old posts in brezza thread.
