Suryaputhra sir could you please let me know the part number for Dzire Dashboard Glove compartment or the Glove compartment lock. Mine got locked up and damaged when the workshop guys forced opened it. [cry] Thanks in advance!
Sir, model, variant and year of the car required.

@GreenMiles

Please select any car with four cylinder engine. Three cylinder engine power and torque curve is not up to the mark, how much manufacturers tune three cylinder engine it lacks something in lots of technical aspects. So go for a car with four cylinder engine.

Hi Suryaputhra! Yesterday I went to MASS to get my Wagon R serviced. The SA told me that they cannot adjust the mileage in the new MPFI cars [Wagon R included] like they used to do in cars having carburettors because everything is controlled by ECM and sensors. Is it true?

There must be some way to adjust the ECM. What are your expert comments on the above.

Yes in MPFI cars you can not adjust mileage, there are other after market ECM remapping procedures are there but they are not advisable. If you feel you are getting low mileage you can try below procedures.

1. Make sure ignition timing is within the specification
2. Spark plugs are clean and gap is with in specification
3. Check error codes related to oxygen sensors, Catalytic converter, Electronic throttle valve.
4. You can clean electronic throttle valve.
6. Change air filter.
7.check A/F ration in OBD 2 scanner.

What's the mileage you are getting sir?
If its between-11-15 ,for wagon r its the optimum mileage.
The points put by Mr.Suryaputhra is the correct aspect for getting best fuel economy and best experience in any car.

How many cans did you use sir?

In city or Highway?, how any years old car and what is the ODO reading.

This mileage [about 13-14 kmpl with ac on 40-50% of time] is 100% city mileage. Generally my office commute involves moderate traffic. My Wagon R is 9 months old and odo reading is about 10,500 kms.

Hii Suresh
It looks class. How long it will stay there..
What about DRLs? You got ?
There are other brands will last for three years, touch up is easy, people are plastic dipping entire car. But this Rust-Oleum says three months. I found on other USA forums that Rust-Oleum holding well even after six months to year. Long lasting brands are available in India.

Order get cancelled, I am thinking how to fix, I mean control switch in the engine bay itself if I get idea how to do that then reorder them again.
