I prefer one under ORVM's. Suzuki logo projection ,i have seen the amazon based one,but i prefer White Led backlit suzuki ,not the blue one as shown.

Can you explain the LED based DIY?
And concealed wiring won't it look bit out.

Should i connect to door lights or with park lamps?

Logo projection lamps would not be as effective as LEDs for this purpose.

You can paste a strip of LEDs (6 LEDs per door) on the underside of the doorpad and connect them to the fuse box (Cabin lamp fuse). These LEDs require very less power and work with thin wires also. So wiring can be pretty neat if you do it carefully. But it may be tedious as you will have to pass it through door (inside doorpad) to make it look stock.

Connect it to cabin lamp as it will glow during opening of doors (in DOOR position) or totally OFF or totally ON. In parking lamps, it will stay ON during nights drives even when the door is closed.

Another easier position you can try is place it on the running board (towards outside, facing a bit downward, and below the door on the running board). It will light up with the cabin lamp during door opening and will be OFF (and not visible) during rest of the time. Wiring in this case would be very easy.

Mr.Icewise has given best suggestions.
it's better to go for small led strip, connected to door lamp supply. no fuss, no mess. paste it under door pads (below bottle holder bulge). always hidden and pretty safe.

if you WANT TO get a readymade product and have everything professionally done, buy projection logo lamps and install them under door pads. then, simply remove the lens and stencil from projector. what you'll get is- Wash of white light, which is more useful towards the practical function (spotting puddles). this however will require drilling in door pads which ill never do to my cars.

to install the Projector lamps mate!
They look like a small tube, or better say old camera rolls. Once you drill the door pads, this tube goes in, and only the small flange can be seen externally (Only if you bend down).

Sticking an LED strip means no drilling and easy reversible mod.

Re: Can Car Wash cause Hydrostatic lock

Hii i have buy Swift ZXI last year on 23rd of Dec. And maintained it properly on time service and all. Yesterday a strange thing happen with me. I went for car wash and after car wash when i drove back to home approx 500 m running a heard a blast and when i stoped my car. there was engine oil all over the road. Oil pan ruptured, crank shaft broken. I tow my car to service station and they said this happen due to hydrostatic lock and it does not come under warranty nor i can claim insurance. And i have to pay half engine repair cost. I just want to know can a car wash on sunny day cause this.
It is hydro lock only. Water can go inside from three places. 1. PCV valve grommet 2. IAT sensor grommet 3. Air intake. 1. PCV valve is connected to the valve cover door using a rubber groomed over the time it will weaken if forced jet of water is forced there there are chances of water entering valve chamber and pass in to cylinders. 2. IAT sensor is fixed to Throttle valve body using grommet above explanation hold good for this case too. 3. Air intake it should be covered during washing, if inexperienced washing boy points water jet into air intake water can go inside. Pls check valves also can bend. So what happen did your car ready.

Replacing swift coil spring with a low rated one.

I am researching about to replace my swift coil spring with a low rated spring. From my research, i found that reducing spring rating improves ride quality at the cost of handling. I don,t mind compromising handling a bit if ride quality is improved. Also please advice me with the after market options available.

Guys,i had drove my friend's Swift dzire VXi,i felt the braking too low than my Swift ZXi,though mine has ABS,i felt its brake bite too low.Is it normal.
I think this have nothing to do with the model of the car, but only the particular vehicles you drove. You both having different brake setting in the respective cars, tell the service guys and get it adjusted to suit your driving style.

No, the v and l trims do have poorer brakes ac compared to z trim
You are right. ZDi/ZXi have ABS with EBD, and brake assist for quicker braking in emegencies. I was talking about brake bite and brake pedal adjustment. Within ZDi trim, one car may need a heavy foot for stopping completely and another car of the same model might need only less pressure applied for the same effect. It all depends on the brake adjustment in that particular vehicle, same with brake bite as well.
