Thats my oil level

Ameyam
There should not be engine oil consumption and your car is just 5 months old. Don't wait for the free service and get your car checked.

Oil consumption means something really wrong with the engine. Did you insert the rod fully ?

I think you just took out the stick and took a photo. You have to first wipe the stick after taking it out , insert it back , take out again and check.

Take out the dipstick, Wipe it with a clean cloth. In the lower part, you will see two small holes. The hole on the lowest part of the rod indicates MINIMUM level. The upper hole indicates MAXIMUM level.

Got my first puncture, hence now changed to stepney Appolo Amazer.
Struggled a bit to fit my lower profile stepney.
The profile of stepney is 165/85/R15.
I was amazed by such a difference.
Tomorrow planning to mend my stock alloy.

I purchased one, online from Naaptol. Brand 'Carmate'. Rs 750/- approx. Same quality that I purchased with the car of Maruti. Not yet tested for heavy rain but for light drizzle it is OK.

Bought a cover for My Swift through my trusted mechanic for Rs. 750. Fits very well but doesn't have the dome for the antennae. I am concerned it will break it if I yank it off without paying attention. Also, its a pain to fold up. At first I just rolled it up into the hatch. However, that took so much space, so I took it home and had someone fold it with me. Folded up nicely but brought all the dirt it had into the home. Don't see myself using it too much unless I am not using the car for a couple of days

Actually the car cover helps from birds dropping and light rain. May be it protects from hard sun rays too. But folding it each time is really tiresome. If car is used daily it is not possible to cover it up. Only if not used for some days the cover may be used. Also it is helpful just before winter when dew forms. The cover protects from dews

Guys,

what is the proper tire pressure to keep in the tyres? I had been keeping 33psi as per the MASS / manual for the first month or so, but realised the ride was quite harsh, especially in the rear (parents). So I began trying out 31 / 32 psi and found that the ride was ok at 32. Then I switched over to alloy wheels. Yesterday, someone in the back informed that there seemed to be a wobble at low speed when going over rough roads, something I cant confirm because I never sit in the rear. Not sure if it was indeed a wobble or just perceived due to road conditions. The alloy vendor told me to keep 33psi only. Note I have nitrogen purged wheels but I just check for / top up plain air now.

Also, I cant always check tire pressure when cold because I don't have a dedicated parking, so park on the road only. If I take the car out during the day, I will lose my parking spot and the pump is usually closed after 9pm (they switch off the compressor). So, if I have driven the car around a bit, what should be the pressure to be maintained?
