Yes you can till 1500 kms. After that 3000 rpm till 2000 kms. Then rev away to glory. Just make sure its a gradual increase.

@ ameyam seems like idling issue which can be for air filter or clogged injectors. How good are the petrol bunks you fill petrol from ? Also do you wait till the tank is empty before refilling ?
if your tank gets empty it could cause damage to mpfi engines and clutch seems a bit tighter after 1007kms.

Hi,

the petrol pump I get mine from is quite good. Lots of people use the same one. And I usually keep my tank full till auto-cutoff.
I haven't tried that brake application at idle thing, mostly because with the car sitting in the sun, it doesn't seem to stall. Will do it this evening and let you know
Oh, and filter cleaning doesn't seem to be the issue- brand new K&N filter cartridge installed.
Blocked injectors on a 4 month old car??
I always felt from the very first day that my car has indifferent brakes, especially at low speed. But when I changed from rims to alloys, the fitted did clean my calipers. They suspected an oil leak there but there is no subsequent evidence. Also, after then, my braking at low speed has improved a bit

Tushar, how did you dent the bonnet after hitting a pothole? If you damaged the bumper, welcome to the world of scratched bumpers. I pushed my car into a parked bike infront within the first few days and got a minor scratch. Now they are numerous. Side-effect of driving a car in city[;)]

Sad to hear Mr.Tushar.
Even my ride was scratched with key or some sharp object, when i parked in a park within city premises.
As in case of mine there is no dent,i plan to do brush touch during the service.
I hate such miscreants.

Depends on how you drive. Going from the city to the suburbs i got 21kmpl (petrol) . Didnt feather it or anything, did drive as i do normally, with a lot of lifting & coasting to signals or patches of denser traffic

Tushar,
You cant use that meter to gauge average. That's instantaneous FE whereas you want overall FE. For that you must use tank to tank method- fill up to cutoff, run 100 km or so, then again fill up to cutoff. Divide the preceding distance travelled by the amount of fuel you put in 2nd time. Thats your actual FE

Those two meters (A & B) just show disyance covered. Cant use them for FE

Dont wipe the dust off with any cloth. Dust contains minute abrasives that will scrape the paint. Use a static brush (like is available at signals) to pick off the dust. MF cloth is to be used to wipe interiors dry or exteriors after a wash

And do use punctuations & ask unrelated questions in separate lines!
