Re: Maruti Suzuki Ritz LDI -Glistening Gray-Ownership Review

Hmm, thank you Sethu, I had a plan for the month end to go to Bangalore, but it seems I am not going for that due to financial year end pressure here. I may visit Mumbai in first week for a conference. Nothing is coming up for Chennai Sethu any seminar, exhibition or any customer over there, if my work gets thru' with L&T there may be I visit but it has time. But believe me we never know with sudden surprises coming up, so expect to meet you very soon.

Re: Maruti Suzuki Ritz LDI -Glistening Gray-Ownership Review

A small update friends,

As I was travelling out of Hyderabad and was also busy in office it self and could not able to take out my Ritz on the road these days. With that I found some noise in blower as some papers sound, then took it to service yesterday and that was due to some papers bought by our rats there, so got that cleaned for free. They told me to see that rats are not around the car. As my car is parked in my office premises under the roof and proper security but still rats will go around and I am not taking it out these days, so thinking to put some chilly powder around the tyres and some rat poison too.

here are few pics of Ritz at the MASS(Gem motors) service yesterday

Sir, that is really sad to know that Mr. Rat visited your ritz.

BTW, just having chilli power near tyres may not help. You can do that after every trip you take your car out or you cant park exactly on the same position where earlier chilli powder were put.

In our area people say that keeping tobacco will help a lot.

Surprisingly we have a thread on the same subject, pls have a look

Oh these rats again! [evil] Problem with rats is there is no universal solution. Even I too faced rate menace with my Punto, they chewed portion of sound deadening material under the hood. For few people keeping tobacco poutches worked, for me it dint. Even rat poison cake was of no use. These days rats are too clever to eat rat baits. Finally tried nephthalene balls and touchwood, it worked.

Purchase 2 - 3 packets of these napthalene balls, cut it open and keep the packet in various places under the hood. Search a suitable location (flat surface) under the hood, where these packets can be placed. Just ensure that you remove them before you turn on the engine. Thats it! Need not worry.

Re: Maruti Suzuki Ritz LDI -Glistening Gray-Ownership Review

@CF thank you I will try with that,

A small update of my ritz as I visited a 3M car care and enquired about various services,

they have quoted me Rs.4500 for paint protection treatment (exterior) will last for 8 to 9 months and all small lines on the body will vanish. interior+ treatment is of Rs.1900/-

I will have to get them done some time, so here are few pics for you

1. 3M care pics where a Ritz got treated with paint protection
2. few interior pics of my Ritz
3. few Hyderabad road pics this morning where you can see big PV Narsimha Rao flyover of 11.6 km long lead towards Hyderabad international airport, Fish ministry bhavan

Nice pics RK sir. I could n't recollect this place. Lot of changes.

Sir Why P in fuel tank cover? Yours is Diesel right?

One thing which I hate is those buggers sticking posters in such places. See mostly every piller got a poster. Here also the same. None of the EB boxes, or Telephone boxes will be visible. If they saw a surface, just stick the poster. and that too, the same poster repeated in the same place for more than 10 times.

Even after putting warning on the walls no one bothers.

If am right instead of those warnings, catch hold of those people [Very few do that] and warn them personally and provide a place where they can stick stickers.

Sorry for OT. I could n't control myself when I see such nasty things in a superb structure like that which spoils the entire look.

@AHC

Yes that was some body's else car which was petrol one at 3M. So Sethu might have got confused with the interior pics of my car

I cannot say WOW with their work on that car and was ok-ok to me. That car was 3 years old one so you can guess whether that was too good or just normal.

Re: Maruti Suzuki Ritz LDI -Glistening Gray-Ownership Review

@Vijay, they have done the paint protection treatment on that car, but to me it looked like a nicely waxed car, may it was a silver color, so was not very appealing to me. I just visited them to get the exterior and interior treatment. Exterior to remove all small lines on body and also giving a shine to it and interior, they do some anti bacteria treatment something like that, I am yet to get it done, I will do that after my 20K service other wise dealer people will spoil the car

:offtopic:

Such a beautiful road under the flyover and speed limit of 30[frustration].

That means you are liable to be fined even if you go at 40.

It should be at least 60.

Cheers,
Anshuman
