Do you mean that is the speed limit for people walking/jogging/running in the footpath? This is something new to me.

Hey I was joking buddy, just see the location where it is standing, some body hardly looks at it while driving on such a nice clear road and obviously the speed would be something like 90 to 100kmph[:)]

I guess it is time for you to prep your car for the long Hyd-Bng trip,

*Check all the fluid levels
*Check the tire air pressure(including spare)
*Carry first aid-kit
*Carry a bright torch
*Plan the departure time and the route taken to reach your destination after reaching Bng

Guy's please do add if i have missed anything.

Will see you on Saturday sir,

Then fine conditions will be mutually agreed, so no A/C and the penalty is I will drive[lol]

I think we should continue the discussion on the meet thread friends as this will go OT here

Re: Maruti Suzuki Ritz LDI -Glistening Gray-Ownership Review

Friends

My Ritz is nearing for its 2nd anneversery (6th June) i.e. 24 months and also the ODO is moving towards 20K mark(present 19200km), so it is due for the 4th service and which is a 1st paid service. Now tell me which is better

To go ahead with Maruti A.S.S OR there is a brand new Bosch service just near my place opening shortly.

I want to add/modify certain things

1. To add a mobile holder - already ordered on ebay for universal holder like the one bought by Superbad
2. The wheel caps have become very dirty and with cracks(bought them a year back for Rs.400) so want to go for new ones, should I go for the OE ones(are pretty costly Rs.1600/-) which are not impressive with their design, or should I search and get after market one with good design.
3. I want to black paint the rims. Should I do it on my own or get it done outside(I have a paint shop in my factory) if I do it on my own which paint I should use ? can I do that color only on the out side or should I do complete(for this I need to remove tyres and do)
4. Want to add some seat cushion beeds, on search for quality ones

some more in mind but I think they take bit of time like 3M treatment etc.,

Stick to MASS if your car has extended warranty. When the SA prepares job sheet , just check if does not include unnecessary things.

Sir, go for alloys, your car deserves them. Else go for after market Caps (OE/Other design).

3. I want to black paint the rims. Should I do it on my own or get it done outside(I have a paint shop in my factory) if I do it on my own which paint I should use ? can I do that color only on the out side or should I do complete(for this I need to remove tyres and do)

Please remove the wheels one by one and get them painted. Buy Dupont automotive black paint for purpose.
Tried to answer few of your questions,
Cheers,
Anshuman

Re: Maruti Suzuki Ritz LDI -Glistening Gray-Ownership Review

Thank you Anshuman for the answers,

1. I have not opted for any extended warranty

2. Yes, Alloys make Ritz to look very good, but before that I have other things to do, so no funds for them right now. So I will try to locate some good caps for the moment

3. What happens, if I cover with the news paper on the tyres and just paint the outside visible part of the rims. As this saves lot of time for me

That is what I meant. No need to remove the tyre to paint them. I guess the inside is not even painted silver, check and let us know.

@Anshuman

My meaning was without removing the wheels. Park the car at the paint bay, just cover the tyres with news paper, will that spoil the car body paint ??
