Re: Maruti Suzuki Ritz LDI -Glistening Gray-Ownership Review

I have just checked the insurance policies on "policybazar" and quotes look like this

The less premium ones in the start of the list offer less IDV around 295000

TATA AIG offers 365000 IDV and Iffco toyko offers 377000 IDV. When you look at the left side there is the type of policy mentioned. So suggest me which one to go with.

Bharati and Iffco looks good, though HDFC quote is always lowest, I am skeptical about their service.
Do not worry, you will get calls from the agents throughout today and there is scope for further negotiation. Whoever calls ask fine-prints and T&C,

Sorry Tenida I missed it, thank you for advising that holder.

@Anshuman and others, what all should I check with that insurance companies while negotiation ? what kind of insurance will be better as I am not willing to spend more premium too.

If I go with a different company apart from the people who tied up with Maruti is there any problem while claims

For my 20K service, suggestions are welcome, please refer my post on the previous page

While considering insurance companies you should consider following points :

- IDV vs premium
- Mandatory/compulsory deduction (if any)
- ease of claim/claim settlement ratio
- tie up with workshops/MASS
- emergency assistance
- zero depreciation cover (if required)

I would like to keep ease of claim process and zero depreciation as top priority while choosing an insurance. To obtain ease of claim process info, we have to go by word of mouth or from our previous experience.

RK, my car insurance falls due in couple of months and am in same dilemma! [:D]

@CF

The issue is my past experience count is zero as I have never gone for a single claim , so it is bit difficult to judge [:)]

@Anshuman

Thank you for that quote, I do not have any claim experience so far, so BA is reputed firm hence I think it is better to go with them. I will checkout that online once again feeding the previous policy details.

@Anshuman

Can you give that link of BA as when I trying with their online portal, the manufacturing year column has only two 2013,2012, so I got stuck there, there is something wrong. When I tried thru' renewing existing policy, it says there is no renewal available for entered policy number thru' online and contact the nearest branch

Re: Maruti Suzuki Ritz LDI -Glistening Gray-Ownership Review

@gurala sir. Based on my exp am telling this.

Pls go with the insurance company those who have tie-up with the service center where you normally service your vehicle. The process of claim will be very smooth/fast.

And more over the premium amount in this online insurance is varies based on the IDV value again that is calculated by the system.

for example I wanted to renew my bike insurance, there was a huge difference between BA/Reliance. The premium amount quoted by Reliance was very less. I happily went with it. But later I realized the IDV value mentioned by bajaj and reliance also varies. The difference was nearly Rs.5000.

So all those gimics could be just for sake of attracting customers from my exp.
