Hmm,

That would be so nice of you Vijay, at least I will get an idea what they are offering and with what price. But they have a very good reputation in the market at present, so prices may be bit high

I feel very scared while parking my white wonder in public places. Sorry to see those scratches bro. but I think 3M car care has some product to protect from scratches. See below

RK, here are the few lists of prices from 3M
Natural Wax, 2790+ taxes
Synthetic Wax, 3690+taxes.
Difference is the layers of coats for paint protection.

Underbelly anti corrosion threatment
for 2 years: 1390+ ser tax
for 5 years: 2690+ ser tax

Meguair products
Soft cloth: three sizes available, 110/- 300/- and 764/-
smaller ones you need two of them,one to soak and another dry
other two single piece as are bigger size
the costly one has the best quality which you doesnt need a dry cloth to clean surface,with the same piece you can wipe wet soaked and it would do the job.

Car shampoo: 480/-
Tech Wax: 1405/-
Ultimate quick wax: 822/-

Hope this is helpful.

Re: Maruti Suzuki Ritz LDI -Glistening Gray-Ownership Review

Nicely maintained Ritz u have here. Even I have a ritz Ldi, got it in jan 2011. Its done 40000kms +. Hardly use it these days. Ritz is a good car for the city, but I prefer using my Swift dzire more these days.
What is the mileage u get with car? The best mileage I have obtained for the car so far has been 19kmpl. Regularly getting around 17.5 to 17.9kmpl. I get a much better mileage with my Dzire around 19.5 to 20 kmpl. When I got the Ritz, expected a much better mileage than my Swift Dzire, but things always dont work as u expect.
Also I find the seating in the Ritz cumbersome for long drives. Its a great car for the city, no doubt. But long drives can be taxing. Here the swift is much better.

Nice meeting u here on TAI. I will follow your thread.

Re: Maruti Suzuki Ritz LDI -Glistening Gray-Ownership Review

@Vijay

Thank you for the information.

@Gego

Thank for your comments.

I bought this car as I want more head room and leg room where dzire could not provide.
Yes for high way drive dzire will be more planted than Ritz being a tall boy design.

During my highway drive, till 120kmph I never find any problem with Ritz, if you go beyond that you will find it bit scary. But again since it is a tall boy design, you are not comfortable like Swift or dzire at any speed.

So if you want something(legroom,head room) then you need to compromise on that body roll and should be bit careful with Ritz during highway drive, but if you get used to it, there is no problem as you clearly know what are its limits.

Tenida, the material that you posted, i saw that transperent sheet, mostly used on front and rear bumpers and also on bonnets, its like a sunfilm a bit thicker quality.
I enquired for my i10 and the charges with labour for that sheet for my front and rear bumbers was 10k.

10k just for the bumpers is way too much. In the worst scenario even for painting each bumper u spend 7k max. or if u say accident and claim insurance, u will lose max 6k in the premium for the next year. No doubt this is an innovative product but the 10k for hatch is too much.

Gurrala sir, awesome car! Very well maintained. I sure do agree with many of them that grey suits that car. Initially i did not like the design of the car but once i sat in the car was very happy with it. The performance and all other aspects of the car over shadow its only back draw - the design (especially the rear)! [;)]

Re: Maruti Suzuki Ritz LDI -Glistening Gray-Ownership Review

@varun

Thank you for your comments, as I always think I am not giving proper care for my Ritz due to my busy life and only my office lady cleans it. But the fact is most of the time it is not exposed out side as it is always parked in my office promises with good roof and a gate, so may be because of that reason, it looks good to you.

Yes Varun, for me its an awesome car buddy !! come to Hyderabad and I will show you what it is [:)]. Design I have a the same feelings when it was first released in India, but before that I have seen in it in Europe as splash, but when I checked it personally, then everything got to back seat and only its riding feel covered everything. I am enjoying it every day which is close to 20k km now and also going ahead for its 2nd anniversary soon.

It needs, nice new shoes, nice alloys like your Swift but it takes some time for them, before that I need to get the front power windows soon.

Re: Maruti Suzuki Ritz LDI -Glistening Gray-Ownership Review

You should have changed the tyres either right after purchase or after another 20000 km
Now if you change them you will hardly get anything for them. My stock jk tornados are still doing well at 40000 on the Ritz.
