Hi,

As I had mentioned I bought used Ritz VDI, 2011, 40K KM driven, I exchanged my 41K KM driven 195/55/R15 alloys with another Ritz Zxi's OEM 185/70/R14 alloys with 19 K odometer reading, plus got 14" alloys spare wheel (unused). My spare wheel was 165/80/R14.

Respected RK Ji, Please suggest something as I see you already did in your car too

Can you predict how much it will cost to repair this ? May I approach to the MASS ? How much it will cost ? Do I act immediately or leave it there as my car servicing due in July but that time monsoon is here, any chance there will be rust creeps in ?

It is deep scratch made by bike's silencer in narrow road where my car remain stationary. As I believe that white portion is the prima in some place it completely gone and the black metal opened up.

And it is pretty visible from a distance too which litte bit heart breaking. below is the pic,

@Arijit

I have left certain small dents as it is as they are not very deep. For you I suggest ask MASS to do a paint touch up job and that will be enough. They have done for my car and not even charged.

For a spot painting job they may charge from Rs. 3000 to Rs.5000 (for both doors). It may not be required as there is not much of a paint chipping .If after a wash rubbing and polishing may do the job. If not as RK said try paint touch up. If rust is your worry immediately take it to MASS. They will suggest the best .

Thank You for info, 3 - 5K is too much for this little much damage, I'll try to convince them as Touch Up job. The Dealer SVC got full fledged Body Shop Section, but don't know if they try to rip me or not ? One TAI fellow member billed 1.6k for his Wagon R for his painted body colored rear spoiler during delivery from this MASS where I intended To Visit. Let See.

Thank You, One more query, I'm thinking of installing reading light to lit up the back seat and the boot (due to flexible neck) from MASS (which will be cost around 1k I believe) as inside of this car became dark due to insufficient cabin lamp - upgraded to white LED but it didn't help as the rear seat as well boot remain dark at night.

Is it good Idea or I should be looking for outside option which may involve wire cutting..

Please Suggest.

^^Arjit

I agree with you on the less lighting available for rear seat passengers. I suggest better go with MASS option as they will be very careful on tampering any wire and does a safe job though it may cost a bit more than outside.

congratulations. your running seems to be slightly low for a diesel car?
I covered 15000kms already in 10months of ownership. car is doing fine and I've updated in my ownership thread.

@Biker

Yes my running is less. I took my car for WA,WB yesterday and the shop guy says I may need to change my tyres after next 10000km. I was surprised and asked him the reason where my tyre tread is very good. He said as my running is less the rubber compound become hard and because of this I will have vibrations and uncomfortable ride. He also told me any time needs a change after 4 years and 40000km max if running is less.

Hmm, I was expecting my JKs will go for another 30k km but now it looks whatever he says is correct. I am posting few pics of the car and the tyre area for your reference
