Hey 20k service is the fifth one and not the fourth one. Fourth one is 15k kms one.
How much did it cost for 20k kms service?

Maruti's recommended service interval is 10K for Ertiga and hence 15K kms is not mandatory one (but some service center insist for 5k intervals to make more money). IMO, we should be fine in servicing at 10K intervals till 100k at least. For the same diesel engine, Fiat's recommended interval is 15K kms.

After 100K kms, car can be given for service at 5k to ensure reliability & doing necessary top-up etc (based on need).

After 1st 10k kms, service interval is 10k kms.
There's no service at 15k kms, maybe wheel alignment/ balancing, but no oil change as such.
4th service cost me approx 9500.

went 1030km trip (tirupati) .In good roads i pushed 100 too 140 ,god its urging effortless . very smooth engine .
mileage 17.75kmpl , for this mileage ,i can sacrifice turbo a bit .

In local bad roads the middle row rattle is killing me , its like mice sound .

Completely agree. Middle row noise is a nuisance and feel like driving an Omni at times. What annoys more is the rear seat belt hitting sides in rough roads.

By the way, what tyre pressure do you maintain? For my usage with just 2 rows usage, I was initially running 34PSI all wheels & now switched to 33PSI in the front and 32PSI in the rear.

Ok, as i had read in the booklet and what dealer said that it is every 5k kms service. Oil change is at 10k kms only. I dont knw what is the use of 5k kms service as they just do nothing and give your car back with just wash and all and they just charge very much.

bro there is belt lock clip , lock the belt there , its for that only , & no chance to dump more ppl so front 35 & 33 in rear .

bro ill follow the service procedure only in free service period , after that only on 10k mark

even though i installed Philips rally 90/100 iam not satisfied the low beam throw , so planning for power full fog upgrade ,( kill the logic)

Belt lock clip doesn't hold the belt tightly.. so there is still some rattle.

Lower tyre pressure which I am using could be one of the reasons for my slightly lower mileage (17 to 17.5 in mix of highway and city) & 18.5 if driven in highways at around 90kmph is the max I could extract.

Most of the time it is just 3 passengers in our car and hence I switched to lower pressure (please note it is not lower than recommended tyre pressure). Since I switched from a Sedan, slighter higher pressure also gives us a feeling of bumpy ride. But for fully laden long drives I increase the pressure appropriately at the rear.

Finally, upgraded headlights to 90/100w Hella tubes with relay.
Its light is more than double brighter than the stock ones.
But I noticed a problem, I guess earlier without inserting the key, only fog lights & parking lights used to turn On, but not the headlights. Now after all the new wiring with relay, all the lights can be turned On without inserting the key...
Can anyone help?

4000 kms update. Maruti Ertiga Zxi(petrol)

2nd Service done.(5000kms)

Issues:

1)Rattle from Second row AC came up again,irritating one.
Soln: Fixed Temporarily.Need to go for fixing it permanently,Since SA told applying "Aero tape" with foam might fix this issue
AC Service guy was first of all insisting for Serving AC,,said No,told him about how other guys on TAI fixed this issue,so he agreed his defeat and ordered this product.

2)A part of Rain water drain near front wipers,were eaten by notorious rats,made of plastic.
Solution:replaced Costed around Rs 63.

Billing
Consumable =>Rs.145
Wiper soap(6 packets) =>Rs.80
Upholstery cleaning =>Rs.500
Wheel Alignment =>Rs.830
Cowl panel cover(garnish)=>Rs.63
------------------------------------------------------
total =>Rs.1618

Remarks:
=>Car was taken inside>9.30 amdelivered back around 3 pm,with me in waiting.

=>Car was not washed upto the mark,i hated when i see underbody dirty,specially wheel wells.

=>Wheel alignment is overpriced,Equipment seems to be outdated.
Next time will do it at sarvodaya nagar mulund,there it cost 250.

=>Gears had become notchy before service,but after that,it seems it was back on track.

=>MID is before Service was Avg 12.8kmpl
After service it is Avg 10.4
will drive for another few kms and check.

They came in my car,when engine bay was dirty due to my native trip,but later done some DIY,I cleaned the engine myself thanks to @Sumitsinha12 user of TAI,for a wonder full thread

After that i found no problem with rats,now they dont come in my engine bay.

My 3rd service for my ertiga ZDI has to be done in a month. Does it make a difference if The oil is changed from mineral oil to synthetic oil?
