Oil filters - for sure has to be done whenever oil is replaced. I was only in dilemma regarding Air filter and AC filter. But it would have been done by now and vehicle should be ready for delivery too.

Tyres - I do 4wheel alignment, balancing and rotation every 5k kms with neighborhood tyre shop, who is well equipped too. And every 20K - I get the edges rotated too (if running bi-directional tyres). I don't trust service center guys with tyre related services after couple of bad experiences.

Get the fuel filter changed as well.

The Diesel cars have a DPF filter(Diesel particulate filter) get this cleaned as well.

Then there is a sedimenter which separates the water from the fuel.Get the sedimenter emptied and cleaned.

Had called up regarding diesel filter replacement too. But they had completed service by then - I was told it can done at 20k & no need of replacement now. Total bill was ~ 1850 (Oil - 800; Filters - 900 & Misc expenses). I am happy that 2 major complaints have been attended well:

1. The infamous 'Wind noise' issue above 70kmph - addressed
2. Middle row seat rattling - addressed

But they have done a very pathetic job with cleaning (even the glasses including front wind shield are greasy & inside is dirty too - dashboard, running board not even wiped). But overall quality of service is good.

Engine feels slightly more noisy than before, though I don't feel any difference with smoothness. But service engineer said they haven't don't anything that would lead to increased noise. Let me drive for couple of days and post feedback.

Dealer: Ambal Auto (Switched from Adhi Maruti after bad experience in 1st and 2nd services)

Well, Ambal auto usually doesnt make mistakes as I've had no issues with them. Anyway drive a few kilometres and complain to them if the problem still persists.

Wind noise aspect is very much better.. I still hear slight noise about 80kmph which could be because of wind deflecting from side view mirrors (no hissing noise now).. What he explained was that it is because of wind entering through a gap in the front quarter glass and it was rectified by adjusting the beading etc & no replacement was required. Will anyways drive for another week or so before taking it back.

But cleaning aspect was pathetic - apart from grease I had mentioned, looks they kept windows open while spraying water. To make things worse it was salt water and I could see white marks throughout dashboard and upholstery. Took the car back and made them clean again. They did better this time - but they still don't seem to understand the kind of care required.

Wind noise should be nil from both quarter glasses,cause after getting my car treated for quarter glasses,120+kmph was noise was nil,absolutely.Just get it done again,my MASS had a official notification regarding this and 2nd row AC from MS.

i read someone having replied about XUV back seats.they are erect but the underthigh support and the leg room is really good, such that even a person like me 5.9 ht and 84kgs can sit without having to move the middle seat front and back unlike in the Ertiga.

Having said that eritiga is a good car and i cherish every moment of owning it. and stil miss my Luv.

Hey guys !!!

I am not really too often on visiting this site due to timing constraints.

I bought an Ertiga Zdi in Sept'2013 and is really happy owner of it. It is the second in the family one was bought by my uncle last year in August. Since, then I have been its great fan.

I put up in Delhi and we have visited Rajasthan, Udaipur, and the most adventurous was Badrinath in June. It had no problems with the car fully loaded with people and luggage on roof. It was a pleasure driving.

Now, the problem is in the new Ertiga we have bought. The FM/ Radio signals tend to break quite often which I have not observed in other vehicle. So, what can be the cause? any body who can help me?

Buddy Just check the treads of of the antenna is properly tightened,otherwise there might be a wiring issue.

I have already checked the antenna it is properly tightened. It might be a wiring issue then. Lets see when the car will go for second service will get it checked.

Fourth service done @20,000 kms.
Used Shell fully synthetic engine oil, Car's giving its best performance at this time, I hope it'll further improve.
