I will update the comments after a considerable amount of driving. I noticied following:

1: Lesser cabin noise.
2: Engine is smooth.
3: Steering is light.
4: Gear shifting is smooth.
5: Mileage has never been concern .

Service cost break-up.
1: 2700 Engine oil ( there is some discount going on on synthetic oil)
2: 500 ( fog lamp replacement)
3: 1200 ( IND number plate)
4: 400 ( Air filter)
5: 400 - etc like service change and others

#Ertiga_Zmr what is breakup of your service cost. My LUV is due for 3rd service next week. Regarding your temperature guage might be the sensor not working. This happens when they try cleaning engine bay. What about your roof ac rattles?

In the above post I mentioned the approx detail.

AC roof rattling is resolved.

but where is the oil filter cost here, I paid 3400 for mobil synthetic.

my service included , Oil change- 3400 for 3.2lt, oil filter 360/-, rust free silencer 800( I shouldn't have done this but I'm wondering why the hell I opted this) plus TAX total 5320/-

For Oil changed they charged more than what I paid as there is some discount going on Synthetic oil. I guess, they used Shell lubricant.

Good to have so many Ertigas in the same mileage range. What a coincidence to have all cars due for service at same time, all of us switching to synthetic oil etc.

Btw, took for a long trip last weekend to Pondy from Coimbatore and back. The cruise was amazing in the highway & returned decent mileage figures too. I certainly felt Ertiga was under powered among the group which comprised Xylo, Vento (D), Figo (D), Rapid (P) & i20 (P). But no complaints as such since it was a conscious choice & I am more than happy with overall performance, flexibility, comfort, space etc. Since I was driving I couldn't take too many pictures.. Will post a few pics tomorrow.

Maruti acknowledges the problems about air noise from front quarter glass and AC roof rattling sound.

This has to be fixed under warranty support. Please talk to your service center guy and they will glad to fix it.

Hi Everyone,

Got the 3rd Servicing done on my Ertiga VDI . The day started at 9.15am when I reached Sai Service Station. I had taken an early appointment so that can finish with it earlier. Usually there is no rush on Sundays so preferred to do it on that day.

Complaints before the servicing:
- Car was pulling towards left side when the steering is left unattended.
- Noise from the middle row seats.
- Middle row headrests were very stiff.

We started off with a test drive with SM who also noticed the car was pulling towards left side.

This time I had decided to get the servicing done in my presence. It was a tiring process but believe me I enjoyed every moment to be besides the LUV while she was taken care of.

Actual Work carried out during the servicing
- Change of Engine Oil Castrol 5W40 Synthetic Oil. Quantity 3.10 Ltrs
- Changed Engine Oil Filter.
- 5 Tyre rotation done. Spare Wheel --> Front Right, Front Right -->Rear left,
Front Left to Rear Right, Rear Left transferred as Spare wheel, Rear Right --->
Front Left.
- Wheel Balancing done
- Wheel Alignment
- Workshop advisor suggested and filled 35 psi in Front wheels and 33 psi in rear wheels.
- Cleaned the Air Filter and other routine service checkups.
- The washing quality was poor and not to my satisfaction.

Total Invoicing was for Rs. 4700/- breakup as below

1 .Wheel Alignment – Rs. 1309
2. Wheel Balancing – Rs. 682
3. Castrol 5w40 – Rs. 1940 (3.10 Ltrs @ Rs. 555.56 per Ltr)
4. Oil Filter – Rs. 390
5. Wheel Balancing Weights – Rs. 368

The whole process lasted till 3.30pm by then I was eager to get on to LUV to feel the change with the fresh Engine Oil. The drive was smother post change of oil.

Overall the experience was good. Hope to see increase in mileage after 3rd servicing, though I have no complaints on her with the present mileage she is giving.
