Maruti Suzuki Ertiga ZDi Bought: Ownership Review

HI Guys just want to ask something.MY car has air noise,from front left and right side quarter glass upwards 80 kmph,it might be a bidding problem,do your car also has same.I confirmed it my placing a towel on it when i heard the noise,and also confirmed the position on the left side,also the right.

I found out right when i was driving,i complained to,but when i was sitting as co driver i too found left has same,but noise from left is much more than right.

Many has problem with right side quarter glass,i have both[.anger]

Also there is considerable rattle,irritating rattle from 2nd row AC.

Hey patkar. I had the wind noise and my service center replaced the beeding of quarter glass under warranty so now that is fixed. Regarding the roof ac rattles I had same issue and also got it fixed by my service center after a write up to Maruti

OK then i will fix it in the while on next trip to service center.Regarding roof ac rattle how much time did it take to fix.

Hey patkar,

It would take 4 hours for them to fix. I would suggest to fix it in free service because later they might charge you for that complicated task.

Thanks K!NkY i will do the same,just waiting for next free service,since many issues need to be solved.
Another issue,please be careful while you take your car for service,Since i always check fluid,and components before long drive through mechanic.Before trip i happened to visit my regular Exide Service outlet near my complex,to check the battery because making a trip to service center at chembur at that time was something impossible.

Guys there and i was quite surprised with battery fluid level,which almost touched min level,and my first service was done a month ago,he topped up the levels.

This ensures that i need to be more alert with these Mass people next time i visit.

Good to know about it. Thank you for sharing. With no immediate threat in this sector, Ertiga will surely rock for some more time I guess. ES might have some impact - but unless Honda or Toyota or a Hyundai comes up with competitor, this guy will go places for sure. Congrats Maruti for achieving this milestone with a wonderful product!

Both of them have the same kind airbags.

Will leave the other questions to other diesel owners.

VDI Do not have air bags, only ZDI have it

Sorry about that, the diesel variants come with ABS+EBD whereas in petrol there is optional ABS only in the VXi model.

I have a 2 channel amplifier and a subwoofer,with all the wiring,can it be attached to Stock zxi system.Plan is to connect 2 channel amplifier to only sub woofer.Can it be possible DIY.

yes possible unless you have a rca input in your amp otherwise you need to buy converter for it.

It is a 2 channel bridgeable amplifier with RCA input.i have wiring to,but i am interested in buying new one,cause older was having some problem with connectors.

Wires would be power cables,RCA cables,and amp to subwoofer cable,what can be the total cost.

I am also interested in changing case of subwoofer,and getting a compact one,stock one is not large,but still.

budget is quite tight. max around 2k
