Maruti Suzuki Ertiga ZDi Bought: Ownership Review

The following query is regarding the bluetooth handsfree kit sold as MGA for Ertiga ZDI. Was planning to purchase this product from the dealer. However, dealer mentioned the accessory is not compatible with phones like Samsung S3.

If anyone in the forum using the same, can you let me know about the call quality, compatibility with different phones and any other useful information.

I wrote a mail to MS yesterday regarding the Roof AC rattle. Before doing this I informed the SA on the service day he himself told me even if I write to MS they will forward to them. Today I got a call from the same SA because he was suppose to change the right door glass beeding as I hear a air leak at speeds more than 50km. He said the ordered part is ready and asked me to bring the car but I was on my way to office so told him will bring the car tomorrow in the morning. He then said that we got a mail from MS they forwarded your mail to us. I asked him what did they ask you on that he only replied me that they forwarded your mail. He did not sound happy he said bring the car Sir I will consult with workshop manager and will rectify it. But for my surprise there was not even a courtesy mail reply from MS.

I actulay got a online form sent from MS asking for feedback for the first service (which I did in ABT). I gave them rating 7 and in remarks mentioned that I have done my 2nd service and is done in CARS India as my ABT service experience was not good. Then I thought to write a mail to them regarding the AC rattle issue.

Let me go tomorrow to the M.A.S.S and will see how they are about to proceed. If possible will try to take some pictures.

i had booked appointment with them at 3:30,but i reached there 1 hour earlier.
So after half an hour i got my number,first the car was washed,top and bottom.

@patkar How much did it cost you at 3M? Nice pictures are those. Iam planning to do it this weekend if time permits.

Guys today I took my LUV to fix the roof ratle issue. I had SA and Service Manager who had a TD with me and they admitted this should be fixed and the Manager started giving small advise to SA to not to say NO to any customer.

They changed the right window quarter glass rubber beeding as I compained them for air noise at speeds more than 50km. After which they took me along with SM for a TD. Now that is fixed [:D]

Now comes the most irritating sound roof AC rattle. The SM asked for 4 hours of time to fix that. They called me and informed me about the fix . Again we had a test drive along with SM of my surprise it is gone. This time went on bad roads for more than 3kms it was so silent [surprise]

I asked them what they did and if it will come back again. The SM said they had to put paddings and arrest the gap between roof and ac and tighten te AC bolts but I do not see any sign of roof liner been removed to fix it. What ever it is my issue is resolved I drove to office for another 25km and no noise abserved yet.

I am planning to order Coido Armrest online and try DIY fitment. I saw another member in the forum doing the same for his Wagon-R.

So, in your view would it be easier for Ertiga, since you would have seen it done by your fitment guy ?

As per info provided by Raja and patkar_a, Rouf rails for Pune & Mumbai will cost about Rs. 23,000.

@ rohit, yes this is the same armrest which i have also installed. In ertiga it fits in properly & looks perfectly in place.
What is the price you have got from the online store for it?
Fitting it is a easy task but just angle it perfectly else it will come in the way of handbrake and your handbrake will not engage fully, so position it properly.

@ amaren, dont worry about the look as it fits in just perfectly & comes to a great convinience.
If you thinking about getting it fitted than just simply go for it, you will appereciate your decision after you start using it.
For pictures, that i dont have rite now as my car has gone out of town.

@ rohit, ok but is it the same one which you showed me in that link above? and just confirm the colour as that beige color lookd quiet different from which i have got it.
And if it happens you coming to mumbai than it is better to check it and buy it else if you dont come to mumbai than you can order it assuming that it is the same as the above link.

Anyone can get 15% off using coupon SCNW15DD. Though I believe prices are jacked up.
Tradus and Ebay are better. it is the same sellers there as well. Depending on what discount coupons you can use.
