Guys just came back dropping my LUV for second service. This time to new service center. They quiety listened to the issues I explained them. It was mostly on some rattles. Only issue that cannot be fixed is roof ac rattle. Let me see how they do it.

For the second year it cost Rs13840.00 with maruti . First they took Rs 16842.00 from me and nest day they call me and told we have reduced the ins.amount. So the excat price was RS13800.00

If you did not have any claim's last year then don't forget to get the No Claim Bonus on this year premium. Also suggest to take quotes from others as well as there may be substantial difference in the quotes.

I did not have any claims on my Santro for last year.

But, for that NCB to be applied to my New purchase, I will have to get a certificate from my Santro's insurer to terminate that policy on Santro. I don't want that to happen immediately as I may still be driving.

Can I get the Ertiga policy re-issued after applying NCB later? will the insurance company provide a refund ?

I have 1 yr old E. Beige Ertiga ZDI. Continuously for 3 days, I didn't used the car. 4th day the A/c cooling effectiveness has dropped drastically. Does anyone faced similar issue? Is this common? How do we overcome this? Please guide me.

I have 1 yr old E. Beige Ertiga ZDI. Continuously for 3 days, I didn't used the car. 4th day the A/c cooling effectiveness has dropped drastically. Does anyone faced similar issue? Is this common? How do we overcome this? Please guide me.

@Lekshman it is wierd issue. I never faced this in my ertiga. Last month I parked this car in my house for a week when I had to leave to my native for a week. When I came back it started like a gem in first crank. And there was no specific issue I found. Please have it checked with service center incase there was a leaked gas or might be a rat played around.

ertigian's. I just got my car delivered after second service. Almost my issues were resolved. There were two issues pending one is roof AC gives Kat Kat noise in uneven roads. The service advisor said it is a common issue in ertiga and gave me another ertiga to TD in which same noise came in. This noise is realy irritating me as it is loud during late nites and early mornings when the roads are empty and silent. The other issue I had was the tearing wind noise from right door area the SA said they have to put order for the glass beeding which got hardened and it will take 2 or 3 days and it is for free of cost. Did any of you guys fix the Kat Kat issue from roof AC? Any thoughts on these issues.

The noise may be due to the flex that happens on bad roads and since the unit does not flex with the body it makes the noise.

You can try to use some sort of insulation between the roof and the roof AC so the contact with the roof can be dampened.

Inorder to do that insulation the roof carpet need to be removed. If removed the carpet gets damaged with shrinks and crease so the SA is not ready to remove it. That is why I want to know if any ertigians had a fix for their roof ac rattle

The roof liner won't get damaged if removed properly.They removed ours to clean it.

If the SA refuses, complain to Maruti.Write an email.

Hi K!nky, Yes, the midlle row AC unit indeed a BIG DEFECT in all Ertiga Models where it makes rattling noise from the day one.

I got my vehicle serviced 2 weeks back and my regular SA "proactively" said that this has been identified by Maruti as a defect and that he would need 2 days to service my vehicle (3rd service) during which they ripped apart roof carpet and shown me the gap between the roof and middle row AC unit. Maruti have advised all dealers to proactively fix it by a good padding material. My SA said, if I miss getting this done in 3rd service, I would end up paying close to 5,500/- to get it fixed at a later point in time. Hence he advised me to leave the car for 2 days where he did 3rd service and also permanently fixed the middle row AC noise as well.

I hope this update helps all Ertigans to go back to service station and get this done. Should your dealer argue with you otherwise, please speak to region Maruti Service Center head and get this done. Otherwise, you will risk loosing the middle row AC all together.

i havent taken my ertiga for weeks but never faced such an issue ,you should have your car inspected with maruti dealer

@mahi' thanks for you update. Today whole day I was in maruti service center for fixing fog lamp issue. Suddenly this morning the meter console light, parking light and fog lamp stopped working. Thanks for the guys in Sa they fixed it but was a big troubleshooting process. I planned to call maruti customer care on Monday regarding roof ac rattles.
