Kerb weight of 1180 is not too heavy, just a 100kg over Swift. With 90bhp, it should be able to do a decent job.
Since it is based on Swift platform, high speed dynamics would be better than the likes of Xylo and Grande (guessing). 185mm GC is good too. My only concern is 3rd row space and boot space with all rows in place.

Any idea about the expected colour options of Ertiga in India? I only see this light blue colour in all official publishing.

That's the reason I wanted to know the colour options. Also, Radiant Red (like the one in new Swift) would look good IMO.

I would also consider the following in case of buying it.
- Space/Comfort - from the pics looks like the last row may be tigher than the XUV
- Power - is 90 bhp good enough for a 7 seater people mover
- Pricing of top end at 9.50 L is shade lower than Xylo E9 and this will ask for a pause as a slight increase to 11 L gets you XUV W6
- Interiors (from the pics) do look very basic

The 2nd row can be slided, but tall passengers will find it cramped.
Yes, power will be adequate, as it is just about 100kg over Swift.
Price won't go over 9lacs, I guess.
Interiors are not basis and are well equipped.
It will have better dynamics than Xylo and Grande.

I feel Ertiga is meant for people having big families & will be used for intra-city only. I wonder how this will perform on highway with 7 people on board. I would anytime pick Xylo over this one especially when Xylo gets 2.2 mhawk engine.
OTR top end model, ZDi should be less around 8.5L, anything more & ZDi will be dead.

With the VGT technology Ertiga would do something better than nothing,
But it is nothing in front of Xylo not even with the D2 & D4 variant.
The OTR will be >9L when it comes to Bangalore.
