Headlights are carried from Swift so are the Front & Rear Seats. Looks like parts sharing will be common between the "Non Premium" Swift & "Premium" Baleno. I always liked Swift & owned on for 7 years & looks like i will consider this Baleno again this time in Hatchback avatar as I already had a Sedan version.
My wishes for the Baleno
1. Option of Automatic
2. Spacious Rear
3. Low Dashboard Design
4. Safety features across variant's
5. Good Looking Alloys (Spyshots show ordinary looking Alloys)
6. Flexibility & Practicality like Jazz (Difficult one)
7. Option of 1.6 Diesel at a Premium Price.
I hope Maruti offers some of these if not all, and we could have another Blockbuster after Swift.

Won't this enter s cross pricing ? I think it will compete with elite i20 and jazz so the price should be between 6-8 lakhs for the diesel engine.

they are only for Export models only currently right hand drive model production started variants are similar to MS CIAZ

Great pics though, any pic showing the side profile of the New Baleno ? But doesn't the Indian variant to come in the two slant grill configuration?

Looks better than other Maruti cars. However I feel price would be on par with i20/Jazz or may 10 or 20K lower. Premium cars from Maruti never really succeeded that much so mostly they will price it below competition.
