Hello everyone!
There was a heavy rain today in Gurgaon and water level was too high on the street. My car was submerged with the level above the lower end of doors. And vehicles going on the roads was creating waves on the water.
Now there is good amount of water inside my car on the driver side and the seat behind the driver seat. Can anybody help and suggest the ways to make the floor fully dry.

Please help.
Ohh Sad to hear. Don't take chances, just get it clean from Nexa workshop.
they kind of having more experience in these cases and will be able to assist you best. If the service guy is good give him some extra bucks 100-200 and he will make extra effort to check everything which we might miss to check.

Is it still happening ? Did you check the bonnet if its closed properly..or the dikki ? I get these chimes when i wash my car and if any one of the door or bonnet is loose. When closed properly it stops.

I dunked the bonnet down hard yesterday. Though I don't think that's the issue.. My dad confirmed that he yanks the handle every morning while going to the temple[confused]. Its become a routine for him. The car did chime at him several times already, so that answers regarding a few of the times but not all times. This morning the car didn't give me an alarm when I got it. Will keep a watch

No, shock sensors are for parked cars security. So if anyone disturbs the car when parked in your absence, it will sound alarm based on what you have set it up to do.

Airbags will go off only once in the life of the car when it detects imminent impact. Once they go off, there is no cheap or DIY method to put them back and new ones will need to be installed which is expensive. Hence they are set to not go off even in small impacts or fender benders we have on our roads

Hi Everyone,
Got the first service done on Saturday. The experience was good. Also did the repair work for the left side skirting. They replaced the entire section for a flat Rs. 4000. Paid for it completely and did not claim the insurance. The service advisor said that even if i claim i would have to pay Rs. 1000. However if i don't claim the insurance the claim would remain intact incase we need it for any future eventualities.

Hi All,

I got the Baleno Delta Petrol Ray Blue Car on 6th July. Nexa showroom experience was fine and had smooth delivery apart from few minor niggles with accessories.

I concur with all users regarding below issues :
1. Slight pull over towards left side especially when make U turn on circles or take sudden right turn, steering needs to be corrected to keep the car in desired lane. This puts us in tricky situation in heavy traffic of over confident bikers cutting lanes and putting own/others lives in danger.

2. I had trip to Alibaug on last Saturday as Lonavla roads were too jam. The road condition was such that I had to perform Sanity Testing of my car however fantastic roads turned it into stress testing. Suspensions are scary as they 'Thud' for every small pothole.

3. Jerk issue -- This is manual issue which can be handled if we handle clutch effectively but yes this issue is present.

4. Dent-- Thank god I did not have any dents while passing through those deadly roads but there is very minor scratch on right hand front bumper.

Till now based on MID mileage is 13.8, which is fine considering AC is on and mostly the car is driven in traffic or on bumpy roads where I have not been able to touch 80 for more than 10 min stretch.

Solutions i presume will make your car alright as per your query-
How many km has your ride covered? Did your ride got into unexpected gutter /speed breaker with quite some speed? If so check with suspension setup.

1.Slight pull- Can be alignment issue if you have unexpectedly taken the ride in sharp bump or gutter.
2.Check with air pressure
3.Set clutch according to your taste, but make sure you have good play ,not too excess, not too low.
(Mr.Suryaputhra had told me ,a bit play is always good for mixed driving conditions)
4.If scratch is not pronounced, with rubbing it must go off.

Mileage will improve once the first service finishes.
You can expect mileage of 14-19 (In city b2b condition and highways)

Its not a good idea to wade through deep water unless you have a car that is rated for wading through (read SUVs) , or a simple old-tech vehicle that can simply dry off and be ready again. There may be warranty issues cropping up with the plethora of sensors that cars have these days.

I don't know if it's just me or anyone else has experience this. Got the first service done this Sunday, however since then I think the cabin noise has increased. I don't mean to say that there are rattles but the ambient noise from outside has increased inside the cabin.

There is no way in which outside noise can increase over a service. All they do at 1st service is give the car a wash.

Are you sure none of the windows are slightly ajar?

Also, if your car had a tendancy to want to stall earlier and if it has now stopped wanting to do that, it means they have put in an ECU patch that MS has been quietly doing to the Balenos. I would also have a check of the tyre pressure at the pump. ASC gauges are almost never calibrated and it is likely they over filled or underfilled causing more road noise

I've had my car's 2nd service done yesterday, airbag software was also updated in the process. I'm not sure if they've done anything to the suspension but even with 2 people onboard, ride is very compliant now, My car is shod with 15" tires with air pressure at 31PSI, unlike before my car now glides over small potholes effortlessly , "Thudding sounds" while going over bigger ones has been reduced as well!
Anyone having the same experience after servicing their car, please confirm.

One issue has surfaced, clutch now has some "play" to it and I hate it! The pedal is kind of slippery now, is there any way to restore it to previous settings? My foot is very sensitive and it hates free play, is there any way to fix it at home?

Thanks!
