Though the grid lines are not particularly calibrated for Baleno, it is accurate to around 90%.

Please post detailed stepwise pictures. I couldnt see any clips or screws below the chrome to remove. Does it need splicing wire or not.

Open the rear hatch.
You can see a large groove in RHS of the hatch trim in black colour.
Hold it firmly and pull outwards.
As the trim is fixed with push clips, you need to apply little force to remove the panel.
Only after removing this Black trim you can see Nuts to remove Chrome strip.

NO need of splicing wires, Just add Tapping connectors.
Even the MGA camera accessory kit is Provided with tapping connectors and Service centre MGA installers use the same.

In case you need an OEM looking Mirror display, you can get the following product through Aliexpress which has Auto Dimming feature at $89.

Installing aftermarket DRLs inside the headlight housing is a no-no because it voids the warranty of those housings and often leads to water entering the housing itself. Installing LED packages on the bumper is also not a good idea because those are not waterproof, even the once that come with casings. So, after a few days, the daily wash will cause water ingress and they it will just look too bad.
Those chrome strips are available off Ebay. Quality is not guaranteed but if you are just going to install them with double sided tape on the pumper, there will be no issues as long as you use good tape. You can always remove these later if you have problems with it.
Chrome beading, I am not too sure of. Ask around your local market. Chrome beading is a readymade product
Getting the optional extended warranty and nexa card is not compulsory and you can deny it. However, I would suggest you take that extended warranty because this is a new model and with extended warranty, the MASS will be bound to fix any inherent issues / problems you face. You can safely regret the card

Ty rohann87 and ameyam, pls give suggestions about engine cover below ,about speakers sound quality .
As it is my first car , Tell me about mileage of the petrol version and about maintenance cost and spares cost(will it be Same as i20 maintenance).
Should I go with Maruthi insurance or opt for other insurance.

Engine covers may be fitted but it might actually effect the car in long runs when the engine gets heated up.Since a major portion of the passing away of the heat is blocked it might actually cause some problems unless and untill there is a green signal from the MASS.

The speakers n the zeta is doing fine and i am actually happy with it.I dont know if the lower trims are fitted with the same speaker type and they are obviously not components.Try playing mp3 of 320kbps sound quality and if u have original cds.They should give you good sound.

As per the maintainance,i am a new driver and so had brushed the bumpers and fenders of my car quite a number of times against the parking wall.Each insurance claims costed me around 1512-1890 rs inclusive of claiming charges and some paint material charges.Rest cost of spare parts i believe would be at per with swift.

You can go by outside insurance if u can get at lower prices but for the first year u can opt for maruti insurance as there is always a rapport between the insurance evaluator and the maruti authorised garage in case of damages and your work/repair might be done at the earliest.

Those stock speakers are pathetic. You need to replace them to know. I just replaced the back ones & i suddenly cant hear the front ones at all (i had Infinity reference from the Swift). The stock speakers are feather light

Do you have to insert some flat screw driver etc to lift the tail gate inside panel. It doesnot come open with hand pulling out in the groove.

NO !!
You should not use any screwdriver. It makes scratches.
Just hold the grove and pull it outwards. It will be tight and you will have to apply extra force.

Its just a remote control app where you can increase / decrease volume, select radio / usb / aux etc.

I am planning to book Baleno Zeta Petrol in Pune. In total cost they have included 2yrs extended warranty of about 9500. First of all is there any use of this? And if i wish to remove it from the total cost can i do that?

Also as the vehicle has such a huge waiting, is there any possibility that Nexa will give any concession at price if negotiated? At least while buying accessories!

Extended warranty is very useful. It is after 2-3 years that a car will show abnormal niggles and major problems. Problems arising after proper bedding in of parts are quite serious and the repair bills are often costly. It is better to be on the safer side and get extended warranty.

You can skip extended warranty if you want.

If you have some contacts with NEXA or Maruti officials, then only you can expect a good discount. The chances of general discounts are very less though.

Manufacturers dont provide any discountvwith their hit products. I trued this good relations part with the Jazz as well as Baleno, etios cross & i20.

Best to go for extended warranty though. It means that even if one critical part fails in the ( typically) 4 years of ownership , you recover your extended warranty cost

Ameyam I got Rs. 15k off + floor mats + mudflaps. Contacts do work!

Someone said that I am the first one on TAI to get a discount on Baleno (along with a speedy <30 day delivery). Good relations and contacts are different things I think.

I am not bragging, but if you do have contacts with higher officials of a dealership, chances of getting your desired deal are very high. You are treated/addressed on a priority basis.

Really appreciate that. I mean I tried getting discount through someone who owns the dealership and is a relative. He just told me its difficult to get a discount. There is a difference though - I was trying for the S and SV trims of the Jazz then which was selling well. You went for the top spec. Also, I was trying to get a discount on the car itself
On the Baleno, I did get a discount on the accessories but that was not oo much because I just got the camera and mud flaps and nothing else

. Ice wise I am buying my first car I.e, baleno delta varient ,I am planning to modify the car with reverse camera including tat chrome bar and install apple car player as it is in alpha variant. Do I get these above products in nexa showroom or buy it outside. If I buy or modify the wiring of the car outside , do it affects the warranty. Any other suggestions will be helpful brother.

Yes it is possible to add the rear chrome bar on baleno delta but i am not sure if they will fit the reverse camera in them.And yes you can get the apple car play as genuine accessory from the service centre(not from nexa as the RM told me) for ₹33K

Can you confirm the price of Headlamps, AFAIK its ₹18600 for each side.
