I have upgraded my headlight bulb to Philips EV in same wattage.
The pair cost me Rs.1200 in Pune.

Yes, the improvement is 50% more light than stock bulbs.
With low beam mode + fog lamp I can manage to drive now.
It was not possible with stock bulb.

The high beam has also good now.

But the light is not good as 100/90 bulb upgrade.

Next upgrade will be the fog light bulb. Philips will be the brand.

Or any other ideas to upgrade my fog light.

UPDATE :

Completed 5000 KM & 2nd Free service. Also installed AC filter. Cost Rs 350.
No issue as of now except some rattle sound from 2nd row or 3rd row seat.
These will fix in 3rd free service.

My last KMPL was 12 kmpl in city and 14-15 kmpl in highway .
Both are with 100% AC on.

I have calculated with low fuel warning to the low fuel warning method.

I am searching for a VFM alternate.
HID in FOG lamp is strctly not a good idea.
NB & Philips EV have bulbs (H8) and those are costing around Rs.1200 in pune.

I am not comfortable with that price. Recently i have upgraded my headlight with Philips EV and the result is just Ok...OK...

Not as bright as 100/130 or 100/90 upgrade. (my other cars have this setup )

And my search is still ON ... [:)]

Hi Kalinga

Have been following your thread keenly and i am planning to upgrade from my Indica Xeta of 7 years (extremely faithful) to either a Honda City (ANHC 2014) or an Ertiga ZXI since my running in Pune is less and i am a petrol head anyway

I am just waiting for any Upgrade to the Ertiga in the Auto Expo 2014, and if not, i will Book Right away (Feb, March)

Wait till Auto Expo.
There might be some update on Ertiga.
-- Driver Armrest
-- ACC
-- Rear 60:40 Split seat.
-- Better Audio.
-- Some new color / graphics
-- Auto transmission may be available.
-- May be a new state of tune (for the existing Engine) (For Petrol model Only).
-- And most important "Bug Fix". that means you will get a perfect car. :)

Some of the above points may be add to Ertiga.

So i suggest to wait till Jan / Feb 2014.

HI,

I am not an expert...just an end user. [:)]
The result is awesome. Till date (after 10 days & a 300 KM Drive in highway) my glass are clean & clear.
Night vision is excellent. Water is not accumulated on front windshield glass..

I really satisfied with the end result. Specially driving in night is not an issue now.

Thanks to the Meguiar - NXT Generation Glass Cleaner. [clap]

All the product from Meguiar are little pricey, but worth the money.
I really satisfied with all the product from Meguiar .

UPDATE :

My LUV is now 6800KM old. Running butter smooth.
Getting a constant mileage of 12kmpl in city.

I really appreciate the maruti Customer care.

In my last 2nd free service the service center misplace my 3rd row floor mat. I noticed it at home. i immediately called the service representative / service dept. and they promised me to call back in 15 mins. But they never called me.

I escalated this thing to maruti. within 1 week the dealer called me & promised to deliver me a new 3rd row mat at home. :)

Hi KALINGA,
Good to know that you have got response from dealer after escalating to Maruti.
The dealer don't bother much unless it comes from Maruti. I think most of the dealers are like that only.

Would you please let me know the escalation process ?
