Re: Maruti 800: Technical Issues and Solutions

thats the fuse box in the owner manual of a 2008 model. Anyway I suggest to check all the fuses in the fuse box because some are shared with other functions not mentioned, if you find any shorted just replace it with another of the same amps (color)
For a Spanish speaking market, Maruti should print these in Spanish. By the way, your english is pretty good Juan. Because you dont seem to be using a translator tool.

Yes, Maruti prints it in Spanish, just some graphics are on English..
Thanks, but I use a translation tools for looking some word that I can't remember =P

I didn't realize of that differences on fuse rating betwen countries.. It's weird, same function must use the same energy.. even on different countries xD

But you can find the differences like A/C in yours use 15 amps but here it is 10 amps.

Turn and tail stop in yours uses 10 amps but here 15 amps.

As you said there should be no differences for the same equipments.

It's strange, for example one headlight can't use more than 10 amps with the normal bulbs recommended.. if you're on low beam, and use the high beam as horn it's 55W + 60W, and 115W is just almost 10A (It seems to me they're measured at 12V), and there is no more consuming devices on a headlight.. so 10A should be enough.. =S
Maybe on your country the wires are installed thinking on bigger bulbs or just they're stronger wires so they can support greater amps ratings..

I guess this is idler switch which is activated when the a/c on. This is connected between carb and intake manifold.

This is kind of sensor which increases the rpm of the engine as soon as the a/c is on (depends on the load, vacuum generated)

The thing marked in red was removed from my carb. I think this idler switch is connected to the nozzle(marked in blue).
My AC wiring, etc is totally messed up. [frustration]

BTW: Will the heater work if the AC is not working, no gas filled. :stupid: Can you please tell the working method of M800 Heater.

There is no heater in your car, the knob is just dummy. No 800 had heater except 5speed DX version.

For A/C wiring you can get separate wiring kit.

Why this kolaveri ???? No Heater !! [surprise]

I'll get the AC repaired later(next summers) and will surely change the AC wiring harness.
