It looks much better than before, But what is a rhino doing infront of Cheetah inspired vehicle[:D]
If i was working for Sonalika(Rhino) marketing, i would see that as a classic opportunity to create some PR, but really there products are no match as of now nor in the same league.

Sonalika is the first thing which came to my mind the moment i saw their homepage, As rightly pointed by you they are no match for Mahindra.

Mahindra confirms XUV500 petrol and automatic variants for the future.

The petrol-powered XUV500 is not being developed for the Indian market. It is developed with the view to sell the car in larger markets, where diesels are generally not considered in the passenger car segment. In the US, petrol is cheaper than diesel and thus is it financially feasible to have a petrol SUV. The Australian market is also favorable for selling petrol crossovers.

On the day of launch that the XUV500, M&M were affirmative that the XUV500 will be available in an automatic avatar. However, Mr Irani has confirmed that although work has started on the automatic variant, the launch is still a good two years away. M&M wants a modern 6-speed automatic box in the XUV500.
Mahindra will not develop its own automatic gearbox but will source it from other manufacturers. The Indian SUV maker has engaged in talks with an Australian-based company named DSI and Hyundai for a six-speed box.

XUV5OO W8 - Opulent Purple

Hey guys, so as soon as I heard that the XUV booking are re-opening on 8th June, I was thrilled. I have already sent the booking amount cheque and other papers to the dealership, and they claim they will put in my application on Day 1 itself. I am so excited!! [clap][:D][evil]

Any general advice would be nice to have.

PDI stands for Pre Delivery Inspection , something you should absolutely do before registration. There is a checklist somewhere on the forum , may be the mods can help with a link to it.
