In my scorpio the seat rattling problem has reappeared again. I was experiencing the problem of rattling in the front passenger seat. The headrest is shaking and it is making noise. Other than headrest, the seat itself seems to be making noise.
I did service for 40k and during that time the SA fixed it. However, it has reappeared again at 50k. Is there any permanent solution to this problem other than changing the seat itself :)

They will not replace the seat, there is jugaad involved to fix this.
With the seat moved fully to the front, they will place a rod on the base of seat on which the seat moves back and forth, on that railing.
And then they hit the rod with a hammer.
Your problem is solved, and yes as a owner you cannot see it, but it works.

Any luck over the LED issue Mukesh.? I mean its not something i need to worry right.
I have check the oil levels and they are up to the mark as per the Oil rod.

Can be a faulty sensor, in my case as soon I crank the engine no lights on ODO glows.

Yes it reamains for a while after cranking and it is normal.

It remains till the first circulation of oil, and its normal.

Mahindra Scorpio VLX Breakdown

The scorpio suddently stopped on the road last monday when my Dad was driving it to church. Scropio refused to start afterwards.

Being diwali the service centre in Managalore was down and he was not able to get anyone to help. Finally, a mail was sent to the customer service and rowing team attended the problem same evening.

They towed away the vehicle after struggling for an hour to locate the problem. For the last couple of days, the service centre is dismantling the the Scorpio as they are suspecting issues with wiring and since then they are working on it. It has only clocked 2500Kms and issues with wiring!!!

I have sent another mail to customer serivce today to get an update. Any ideas friends as to why this happend.

Pradeep, I hope there are no mods done over your vehicle. I mean stuff related to wiring. If yes, M&M will straight reject it saying warranty lapse and will not support much. Or cost you a hell.

Oh !! Pradeep, what a situation !!

Oops !! this is really ridiculous breakdown for a vehicle just finished 2500km and it is a reputed manufacturers super hit UV

And an addition to it, the pathetic service people handling it and not able to find out what is wrong !! I seriously do not understand why people are still buying Scorpio when lot of other options are available in the market, may be only because of the price.
