Mahindra Announces M-Plus, A Nation-Wide Mega Service Camp

After launching the XUV300 compact SUV, Mahindra has announced a free, nation-wide, mega service camp, M-Plus, for customers of its entire range of personal vehicles, including the Bolero, Scorpio, XUV500, Marazzo, Alturas G4, XUV300 TUV300, KUV100, Thar, Xylo, Nuvosport, Quanto, Verito, Verito Vibe, Logan and Rexton. This customer-centric initiative will be organized between March 4-12, 2019 in more than 600 Mahindra authorized workshops, across all the major cities of the country.

Mahindra Marksman deployed at New Delhi international airport

The Mahindra Group has deployed six armoured Marksman vehicles to the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi. These vehicles join the CISF’s (Central Industrial Security Force) Quick Reaction Team’s fleet. The introduction of the Mahindra Marksman makes the New Delhi international airport India’s first commercial airport to utilise armoured vehicles.

Mahindra & Mahindra may discontinue 1.2 litre diesel engine: Report

NEW DELHI: Following the footsteps of Maruti Suzuki, home-grown automaker Mahindra & Mahindra may discontinue small 1.2 lite diesel engine which powers KUV 100 hatchback, ETNow reported. However, the SUV specialist will continue to sell cars which are powered with 1.5 litre, 2.0 litre and 2.2-litre diesel engine. Moreover, the company is planning to bring petrol models of all the SUVs in the next two years, seeing the traction of Mahindra XUV300 petrol model.

Mahindra & Mahindra to invest Rs 18,000 crore in the next three years

Mumbai: Mahindra & Mahindra has raised its investment forecast for the next three years by 20%, as the SUVand tractor manufacturer expects the current slowdown to end soon and growth to return strongly to the market.

The Mumbai-based automaker will now invest Rs 18,000 crore during the fiscal 2020-22 period, compared with its previous plan of Rs 15,000 crore. This will be towards capacity expansion, adding new products to both its farm and automotive portfolios and to make investments in areas where it sees opportunities.

Mahindra Confirms Discontinuing Xylo And Long Version Of Bolero

Mahindra will be showing the exit doors for Xylo and it will be accompanied by the long version of Bolero, confirmed Rajan Wadhera, President, M & M. The homegrown auto major has the Bolero as its consistent seller for years as the workhorse will have its Power+ variant staying put on sales. Mahindra developing new 2.0-litre petrol engine

Current 140hp, 2.2-litre turbo-petrol engine in the Mahindra XUV500 used for representation only.

The new 2.0-litre petrol engine will be an all-aluminum unit and is estimated to have an output of almost 185hp, and interestingly, will not use the same block as the diesel. According to sources, Mahindra engineers wanted to optimise the petrol unit and make it as light as possible. Just like its new range of 1.2-litre and 1.5-litre TGDI petrols, the new 2.0-litre unit will also be turbocharged.

Mahindra Collaborates With Blu Smart To Provide An Eco-Friendly Cab Service In Delhi/NCR

On the occasion of World Environment Day, Mahindra partnered with Blu Smart, ride-hailing service, to help launch a new unique, connected, all-electric ride-sharing service in India. To inaugurate this event, Mahindra eVerito sedans were flagged off in New Delhi by Chief Guest Shri Amitabh Kant, CEO, NITI Aayog. As a part of this strategic partnership, Blu Smart Mobility will induct around 70 Mahindra eVerito premium sedans in the first phase of its all-electric programme, across Delhi/ NCR including Gurugram, Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad and Faridabad. In the future, Blu Smart will add more than 500 Mahindra eVeritos into its all-electric ride-sharing fleet by the end of April 2020 and further expand the service to other cities, such as Mumbai and Pune.

Mahindra ‘World of SUVs’ dealerships go live on June 28, 2019

Mahindra will officially unveil the “World of SUVs” premium-showroom setup on Friday June 28, 2019. This initiative is actually a showroom-in-showroom concept that – unlike Maruti Suzuki’s Nexa outlet chain – will feature a separate enclosure for Mahindra’s premium models inside some Mahindra showrooms. As part of the World of SUV’s initiative, Mahindra’s existing outlets are being upgraded to incorporate a special “Prime” zone. The designated zone will most likely display the Alturas G4 flagship SUV, the Marazzo MPV, the XUV300 compact SUV, the XUV500 and the KUV100 NXT.
