The wrap looks good. Good you stayed on this side of the line still. :P I hear there is a flat spot of the sports somewhere in middle of the rev range. Have you felt it? People have remapped their cars to cure that. Are you planning the same?
Thank you just about on the line [lol]

Flat spot of the sports ? you mean pajero sport or vcross ?

The wrap job is classy and helps distinguish it from commercial pickups. Good job!
thank you sir, as i said just mickey mousing with these experiments, vcross in white feels like a painters canvas and with the unbelievable level of options available you are spoilt for choice.

^^ ahh that way, i think for the weight and size of the vehicle , people coming from a fortuner or even XUV for that matter might find it sluggish, not to do with the mid range, probably through the range.

The engine is significantly detuned for its size(2.5 litre engine churning 134hp is very conservative) and hence its a remapper dream - people have done over 190+ bhp remaps. Pete's, T8 , Quantum etc - huge ecosystem for Vcross retuning, last i heard Pete's have released v4 for the vcross. At some point of time i will succumb to this .

Whats the Kerb weight of this pick up vs full size SUV?
The lack of roof & seats at rear would have saved some metal. No?

BTW, Hp does not seem to translate into on road performance. Storme, Hexa both are rated 150+ Hp and 400Nm toruqe. But an XUV at 140 Hp/330nm will leave em to dust. Weight issues?

Kerb weight is 1905 kg without any accessory, you need to check out the Vcross build quality. God help those who hit the rear bumper - it will be catastrophe for them.[lol]

I dont know about the new Storme - havent driven it recently, but the Hexa is pretty closely matched to the XUV in performance despite its weight. XUV will have some dynamic edge being a monocoque but that apart i dont think XUV will be able to leave Hexa to dust.

Yes bhvm caught my typo. Not sluggish as such but I have heard that there was like a flat spot between 2.5k rpm to 3k rpm. Power below that and post that were fine. Maybe an issue with the initial batch. And yes please succumb to it quickly. Or at least drive a remapped example first. It will help the succumbing process speed up. [evil]

Yes type-r there was a issue noticed sometime last Sept/Dec - existing owners were called out for a ECU upgrade

see details in attached, this has been fixed since in vehicles later than Sept/Oct already - newer owners since dont need this. see details in the link below

https://www.motorbeam.com/2016/10/cars/isuzu-d-max/isuzu-d-max-v-cross-recalled-ecu-update/

Yes i am looking forward to drive a remapped version from Pete's soon.

The OTR price here in Cochin is Rs.16,08,168. Can we hope the price will come down post GST?
Firstly Welcome to TAI Hari_krishnan - yes speculations are that there would be some price benefits, thats why most manufacturers have started doling out discounts so people dont postpone their plan of purchase.

On the VCross itself i heard there are discounts being doled at dealerships - please dont hesitate to push. Btw you can save money by buying your own insurance and also not opting for an optional accessory from the dealership. No Dealer can mandate any accessory.

Did a full LED Upgrade on the Isuzu as well including the parking lights similar to pajero sport as posted on this link, havent touched the fog lamp bulbs, intend to keep them as it is(yellow) for now.

I must say despite the same bulbs the sharpness in Isuzu was way better than Pajero Sport, i think its obviously to do with the projector lens - wondering now if the PS projector lens can be changed. The Isuzu low beam is much sharper and clearer.
