At low speeds, steering is very light, so that city handling will be great. But the moment speed increases, steering has to be heavy, to avoid any un-intentional turns with slight movement of steering. So it has to be tight at high speeds, else people will call that a lifeless steering.

thanks for your input..

i drove to & fro to mysore yesterday at avg speed of 60K++.. b..both my arms upto my shoulder developed muscle pain.. i had to alternate between right hand & left hand... earlier i had a getz car.. i never experienced such stress on my arms & shoulders

i don''t know if this is a question of getting used to the perils f new technology??/

Try changing the steering height. It should help, because I faced the exact same issue and after tilting a little bit it is fine.

i changed the steering height and not finding much diff.. let me drive for a day or two.. also I have Lodged a complaint with Hyundai customer care and will take it to another dealer to cross check this issue.

@suresh.c i too face steering problem in my grand i10. it struggles to center automatically after left turn, sometimes its hard to turn left, there is no problem with right side.

@suresh.c i too face steering problem in my grand i10. it struggles to center automatically after left turn, sometimes its hard to turn left, there is no problem with right side.

I had a similar problem.Filled the correct air pressure.It worked fine thereafter.Took it to the service center too, they did not find any problems. Sometimes I still feel it though.

Tyre pressure is checked every fortnight, last Monday visited service center, they checked and corrected alignment, initially it was fine after some ride the problem reappear's.

here is an update..!!!!

I just got my vehicle checked for PS issue,.. the AGM drove for about 20KM,.. and he feels its perfect,.. i disagree with him... .. I don't know now how to resolve this,.. I will write to hyundai and check with them,..

Hi guys, I also have faced same problem, gone to 3 different service station for checking the vehicle but all service advisor after driving says it is fine., but I feel the same. I have checked the wheel alignment in my first service their is some problem in wheel alignment , afterthtat it is fine till date.

whats your opinion of the stereo system in the car,... i feel sound is not as good as my old sony system,,, i feel the bass is low and over all has a metalic sharp feel... the Boom Boom is missing

Has anyone bought automatic version of Xcent? We did test drive of SX manual and loved the car but I want automatic car only so we were planning to get the SX(O) AT later in the year. Not now due to monsoons.

Stereo is just OK. Not heavy and not a partying one. Regarding many issues, the service guys are taking a cold stand. My car developed few issues. Tachometer and speedo needle doesn't light up red at times. They said they didn't open the electrical cluster and check as it may affect warranty. But they didn't hesitate to say its perfectly fine, no issues blah blah. And what I feel is its too early to comment as they said only first service is over and they don't have much idea about the car yet

^^Why'd the warranty get void. You are not getting anything done from the outside. Pressurize them , then only they'll do something. If your car was out of warranty they'd have asked you to pay and get it replaced.
