i know how you feel mate, when i was having issues and running around for solutions, the first thing every one would say is why did you not take a diesel then, one service advisor told me this and says if your cribbing about fe we offer cng conversion.
Then when i went to buy oil from the market the first shop i visited is my dads pal. He checked the cars oil and commented its impossible for the oil to get black soon unless they put some cheap outdated oil.

In the us one guy was getting a rolling noise from his steering wheel whenever he turned it half way or more, what did hyundai find? A screw in the airbag. They replaced it but his question how did it get in there? what if i got injured if the air bag with the screw deployed? They gave him a cold reply saying we do not know how it got in there or maybe made its way from the holes in the bag. 3 guys and one in india experienced eps failure while driving. But none of the guys in the us complained of fe issues, due to stringent tests a 6th gear an eco button they meet the claimed fe of 17km/l.
However guys there had oil dilution and less fe some months back hyundai quickly updated the ecu and solved it, when i asked the showroom folks to upgrade or reinstall the firmware to fix my fe issues, pat came the reply it can only be done in santro and accent not in verna, anytime to check for error codes they would disconnect the battery and then check, little do they know that we customers are smart that we know error codes get erased when you do that.
overall the car is great i love driving it, but i am very careful on the fuel i put in.

shinamb i am not sure, last upgrade was in october just height and thickness increase, was good for 2000km then it became like the old one. Although speed breaker scrapping has become very very rare.

bazooka your car can fetch 8.27l can't believe it my car being higher then yours looses almost a lakh just because of a few months and more kms[cry]

As far as my usage goes, my car wont be reved hard , since my running for a month wont be more than 500-600 km per month. So i hope the choice i made is the right one.
