a sensible advise, when you choose a girl with only the heart you may get a goofed up one, but if you choose with your mind you have an awesome girl.

City's petrol engine is well tuned and has hondas reliability and well known ivtec.
verna has more features looks great has soft suspension which are great in city ok on highways. But you will need to experiment and feed it good petrol as it is sensitive to the fuel. Some bunks will give you good fe, while some others will deteriorate the average.
however if you take care of the car it will last more then 5 years.
So i thnk i should go for verna only, as i thnk i wil get good advce frm u guys regarding the maintanance of my car..wel thnx for ur help buddy..!!

the auto would give you 9km/l in the city while manual around 11km/l could say you would use two and a half tankfuls in a month and less then 3 on the auto gear.
nick are u sure the manual will give 11kmpl..?? coz wen i bought i10, it ws claimed dat fe ll be 20, n wat i got ws 8...[frustration]

@karlover
Never rely upon others opinion. Others experiences can not be yours. Overall package of this car is great. There will be some minor issues thats why bazooka is getting less FE. Thats not mean all verna cars are lol.

karlover firstly do not use sms/facebook language on the forums.

hyundai does actually claim outrageously high averages, when i went for the vernas test drive i asked the dude how much fe? he said 17 i was like ok and how much would i get when i drive it on the road? he says 16 i said ok and thought to myself a 1.6 giving 17km/l is unbelievable. i got hooked up on hyundai, the auto gear wasn't a needed thing as i prefer the manual gears performance if it was another segment the thing would be different.
just before my car was about to leave the factory i was checking out the test drive car, it was an sx 1.6 vtvt the mid was kept to show the trip meter, when i test drove it the trip meter was on the mid i did not know how to check other values that time, so i checked it and it showed 10km/l i though huh maybe being a test drive car expected, when i got my car i had loads of fe issues. and i saw that same test drive car now converted to cng and the petrol/cng selector is neatly placed so you wouldn't know its there. or have not seen the boot.
the maximum i have ever got on this car is 15.4km/l with speed 97 on the highway other wise it ranges from 13-14 and 10-11 in city.
the verna auto gear has a shiftronic but no s mode thats another reason which turned me of the i10 auto has at least different moods for climbing etc.

its good to know that you got 15.4kmpl..but the worst thing with the dealer wher i took the TD of the car was, they turned off the ODO meter for all TD vehicles. so i cant judge the speed the fe or any other thing about the car.
neverthless, i have booked the car and will be getting it by next week. now lets see how fe turns out on me.
