I have given my car to KUN Hyundai already Ilango , they have started to replace the bumper! My front bumper has a lot of tiny scratches so preferred to change it fully even though it can be repaired as you have mentioned!

Hey guys got back my darling today! She is as good as new with a new front face! The front bumper and grille were replaced! The bonnet was also repainted and the dent which happened was removed!

Here comes the sad part! I had to pay 20k for all this!![cry] For a careless mistake of a biker i had to waste my money now unnecessarily!! I could have easily upgraded my ICE with this money!!

And due to some reasons my dad said it is not possible now to claim insurance so we had to pay the full amount!!

No claim bonus doesn't make any sense. You pay 20K to save may be approx. 2K.
No, you can save more than 50% of the insurance amount. We transferred our zen's NCB to accent crdi in 2005. Insurance amount of accent got reduced from about 22K to 10 k/year.Now savings are more than 50K.

You have transferred NCB to other vehicle. I am telling for same car, normally you pay 20% less, if NCB.

Also, i am surprised to see the insurance amount of accent to be 22K. Its way too high.

I don't think 22 K is too high for 6.7 lakhs exshowroom price model, Even swift vdi has an insurance amount of about 18K!

swift vdi (ABS version)- exshowroom price (mumbai) is 5.44L (from carwale) and my punto emotion ex-showroom price was 5.8L. I payed 12K for insuarnce (dealer was quoting 16K). So the premium you have mentioned is indeed high.

Hey guys i have ordered for a set of new number plates! Aluminium plates for a price of Rs.400! I don like those fancy plastic number plates as they are not durable and not legal too!! The shop owner himself said that the plastic plates are costly and will break even in the slightest of contact with something , though they look very fancy and fresh!!

So i have gone in for the AL plates with legal font sizes and color! Will be fixing it today most probably! Changed the old ones as both the front and back were bent and crooked and sent out a message that the car is an old one , so decided to change it!![:D]
