Congratulations! But when you bought the car, It had 24,000 Kms on odometer, As you mentioned. So, It has done 6,000 Kms in this period.

I bought my car on 1/10/2009.Though my car is a second hand car the very looks of it suggest that it is a new car. It was very neatly and well maintained by the previous owner. the car is a year old before i got it and clocked 24k kms on the odo!!

Congrats buddy. And nice FE figure. 19kmpl from a sedan is a nice figure and that too with ac. Is that the reason you changed your dp??

Thanks Akash. Actually 19kmpl is a low figure for Verna! My friend is getting 20-22kmpl in highways with aggressive driving itself!

About the DP felt that it was quite a long time since the first picture was put up so changed it![:)]

Great Figures Dhaya!

Actually you can fetch more easily om 70-100kmph. try that next time, you will get around 22+kmpl.

And kudos for 7K drive in just 3.5 months

Actually i got good figures in my recent trip to Krishnagiri( about 100km away from Bangalore) in Chennai-Bangalore highway! I travelled nearly 450km in a single day for just half a tank of diesel. But the remaining half tank was driven in city so the average figure came down to 16kmpl!

I never knew Verna was so Fuel efficient. Is it the case with the CRDi one or for the petrol too.

And about DP, this one looks much better. But does its memory size decrease after converting it into 90*90. Minedoesnt due to which i am not changing the dp

Even i doubt about petrols FE. Accent Petrol is not really FE. Atleast not as CRDi.

About dp, no resizing was required?

Yes the best thing about the Crdi is it has great power along with good FE! The more i rev it in city the better FE i get! But in highways i get good FE only if i drive in 80-100kmph range. But my friend having the same car has said that he gets good FE of 20+kmpl even driving 150+kmph constantly in highways.

OT: No no resizing was required. I just uploaded the picture!
