hello himalayan
i am very impressed with the looks of yiur car and i am planing for the same kind of roof so can you tell the present status of the fibre sheet. Is it still good or it has lost its charm.
hi crymetyme, thanks a lot and welcome to the TAI. [:)] its been around more than five months now and still it looks as new as it was on the 1st day of installation, all you need to do is to apply polish. (i use wax pol dashboard polish once in a week).

VipinLJ: Truly said, no one can get bored of this combo. Even red with black roof looks hot!!

BTW: one more picture clicked 2 days back in interiors of Shimla.

one more thing i want to know from you is that can we get it removed without causing any damage to the roof i,e its colour or shine.
It do not causes any damage to the roof but during ripping it off it can leave gum marks which can be easily cleaned by a clean cloth and petrol. That is why i prefer vinyl over paint as when ever i will get bored (which i doubt  ) i will rip it off. Simple. [;)]

One more clicked today when rain was just started.

My personal choice was purple but I thought my friends would tease me for driving a purple color [(girly) car so selected white. After buying the same friends told me " you should have bought the purple" [sad]

Anyways there are loads of white verna on roads so i'll say go for something different, go for the purple.

thanks mate thats why i am thinking to buy purple one because i can see only whites here in my city roads and i just saw one purple car here in my city.
I have one more confusion that is i am wanting to buy xuv5oo because i think verna is not full value for money and i think it wont have a good resale value even.
What you guyz feel do let me know

I did a small DIY for my car antenna as i was not getting a small one and i hated this stock antenna of it long length. I took 10minutes to do it. I liked the looks and do tell your inputs regarding this.
It looks nice. how did you do it, i had got a small sparco antena for 750 Rs and replaced the long one in my I20.

Below are some new pics of my car, you can see the antenna in the 2nd photo. Added DRL like your verna and added a red strip to the side mirrors....

Thanks Raj. Its simple. All you need is a hexa blade, and red paint. Just cut the antenna and then dip the tip of it in paint. Let it dry for a night by hanging upside down. It will be ready next day to use.
I was also about to order sparco antenna online for Rs. 799 but then i spotted one named mazda sport antenna costing Rs. 250 which was cheaper then sparco, sadly that was not for verna so i decided to do DIY on stock antenna. [:D]
BTW: your i20 looks cool. [clap] i am also planning to get my font grill a single red strip like yours.

today went to the shop again , asked him to remove the old one and install a new because the old one looked hideous now [anger]

and the vinyl left lots of glue on the roof , the guy said since you removed it in just 4 days that's why this happened. come after 1 month and it will get removed easily.

some pics of the work. now it's good [;)] well 97% good.

Its been more than a month since i have updated this thread. Here is a pic clicked few days ago. Look at the condition of the road. [cry] i still think that why a sedan? Why not a SUV?? [lol]
BTW both roof tape and smoked tail light is in excellent condition. The guy did his job perfectly.
Quick question with no intention to redirect or hijack the thread [:)]

How does the Verna's suspension handle these sort of roads?

Stunning car you have there by the way!
