Hyundai Verna Black Roof and Smoked Headlamps

Maybe its because I am not active on beautification threads The car looks clean.I see everyone going for the black roof, wont this be bad in the summer?Won't black absorb more heat?

The roof doesn't matters much. I am glad that the car stands out different than other verna's. There are lots of whites and all my friends get to know that this is my car but yeah there are more vernas with same black roof.

I think the roof does matter as it is exposed to the sun.If it absorbs more heat it will transfer the same into the cabin.This will result in using of the AC more than actually needed.

I use the ac at 23-24* and even after getting the black roof I use the ac at the same temp.

@ pradeep- na I won't go for the eyelid and gloss black ovrm. 3d carbon looks better. Since I have gloss black, 3d will look odd.

What about the duration of the AC.You might be using it for a longer period now.

On a hot day I don't turn off the Ac. Sometimes at long red lights I do turn off the engine.
my tank's gonna be empty in 2-3 days and will tell you the mileage i'm getting.

Pradeep why not try the smoked headlights.Just get that top portion smoked.I think the polo tsi has partial smoked headlamps, just the eyelid portion is darker than the rest of the lamp.

Hahaha... as said by AHC black roof makes car stand out than other verna's and luckily mine is the only one with black roof here in shimla. People do recognise me easily. I am also planning to get the black roof done on my m800 soon. and for a place like shimla where winters are about to start i wish it transfers more heat inside the cabin.

@AHC: do you have any idea about spoiler available in delhi market and please do let us know the price too.
@ Pradeepwheelz: are you going to get glossy black or carbon fibre vinyl on your car?
@Jarpickle: i think it is not possible to get that polo look a like smoked tail lamps with these tapes. I wish it could as it looks better then this one.

Regarding OVRM Vinyl, I think you can paste the vinyl in the lower part below the line, so that it will look like dual color.

And the stickers on headlight spoiling the look of the beauty.

@AppU: That's a brilliant idea AppU . I will try that out as soon as possible. Btw that pic was edited AppU ! I thought that tapes on headlight will look cool like eyelids just like Hyundai's sister Kia's models got in them but it turned out looking awkward .
